236.com:

hree full months after GOP-Libertarian candidate Ron Paul announced his presidential campaign would be "winding down", he's actually throwing in the towel for real. Yes, the man who spent over a year pledging to dismantle the United States military has finally ended his quest to be elected its Commander in Chief. Often times portrayed as "crazy", "batshit crazy" and "absolutely freaking nuts", Paul marched to the beat of his own drummer. A drummer that supported building a 700 mile fence along the Mexican border because immigrants are the cause of all our welfare problems.

Ron Paul never did get his chance to abolish the IRS, but his hilarious cranky old man antics certainly did abolish a little bit of the sadness in all our lives. Let's take a look back at the magical year we shared together.

CFR is not better and those are the candidates who are running so we will get more of the same..if not worst.

You're all going to feel really stupid when you see that 236.com is a satirical site.

Thanks for living up to the "crazy Ron Paul supporters" stereotype.

These kind of Articles are the reason Ron Paul has problems. Huff lied about him then retracted after causing lots of Damage to his campaign. This is truly sickening.

He was the only true republican in the bunch. He had me seriously thinking of changing my party just to vote for him. Call me a freak and a hermit, at least I'd have felt a lot more comfortable with Ron looking out for all americans, and not just a few.

Keep giggling Sheepies... wait until we are at war with Iran and our economy goes completely down the drain. Ron Paul must have hit a nerve in the military-industrial-Zionist gang... only that can explain their rage and ridicule of a decent man and those who see merit in his proposals. I am one of those who see that merit, and I do resent the ridicule. Our time will come.

LOL
So what if RuPaul would end the "war" if he were elected president.
So would I.
We have about the same chance of ever being president.

These sheep do not know what they really did and its sickening, like this article. You can tell Hiff post is just as corrupt as the MSM with a sickening article like this.

While it is easy for the author to concentrate on one or two ideas that he or she regards as outlandish,
Ron Paul represents some ideas that are eminently sensible.

As the value of the dollar has steadily declined, it is well to ask, as he does, how much longer the United States can maintain its empire of military bases around the world.

Especially in light of the sub-prime mortgage crisis and the necessity of writing down hundreds of billions of dollars of debt, some of his economic analyses are not delusional or far-fetched.

So, we're just supposed to ignore the outlandish stuff and elect him anyway?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:38 AM on 06/14/2008

Nothing outlandish in his platform.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:49 AM on 06/14/2008

The only think outlandish is the lies you bleaters repeat, What the heck has wives got to do with anything? Ron Paul has had the same wife for over 50 years., I'd say that's a reason to elect him right there!

Ron Paul represents the constitution and HUFF PO spits on that.

Sane candidates? LMFAO

I think the article contained an error regarding this incident.
As I recall, it was the sane candidates that moved RP's podium away from the others.

Yeah, that was a fair and balanced article. Fair and balanced in the Fox news sense of the phrase.

" [...] but his hilarious cranky old man antics certainly did abolish a little bit of the sadness in all our lives. " ... [and more bla, bla, bla]

There will be enough sadness ahead as people chose to follow the FOOLISH LINE OF THIS ARTICLE. Go with the MSM in deciding which candidacies are serious, and which not, and you'll sure get what you evidently prefer: MORE OF THE SAME, ever and ever and ever.

For all the trouble me too, I had with some of Ron Paul's emphases, he had what none of the remaining has: INDEPENDENCY. He is a candidate who supports the interests of his nation, and he is not Wall Street's, AIPAC's or the Illuminati's lackey, as BOTH, McCain and Obama are.

These will hand you over to war, misery and totalitarianism, while you keep taunting those who would have refused that way.

Pathetic. Even more pathetic than it's tragic.

For all those who'd like to learn something on what are Ron Paul's true concerns, I'd recommend a regular read of this site:

http://www.theinternationalforecaster.com/

(or, for starters: http://globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=8914 - which contains a passage showing that Paul and Obama, for example, are on different sides of the watershed represented by the good graces of your true, “hidden government”)

For the rest, the typical "progressive" hack, I don't recommend anything: They are past help.

They deserve the horrors their masters have in store for them.

But, but but, just this morning a learned person told me that progressive liberals are who 'give us our freedoms' not God. We are not born with freedom, we must be granted it from the progressive liberals who will give us what they think we need....

Who is Ron Paul?
He was running for president?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 02:10 AM on 06/14/2008

He is not suave and brutal enough to have been allowed "running for president" in a way that YOU would have recognized, I guess.

Good night, America. You have now what you deserve. (To any sane American left I can only counsel, - sorry, I CAN give no less brutal counsel - but to GET THE HELL out of there. At least, since yesterday's Irish NO to the European "Reform Treaty", the old continent, with its proximity to rising Russia, - with all its cultural lag yet probably the most liberal country left on earth -, is once more looking a tiny streak more promising.)

You appear to be as irrationally partial as the worst of the right-wing nut media you despise. Please grow up and be a good journalist someday.

The illegals(along with the Republican, including Bill Clinton, who is NOT a Democrat, dismantling it) are the biggest reason our welfare system has been all but destroyed.

the guulibility of the left in the debate over illegal immigration is astounding.Hook, line and sinker,Democrats have bought into the corporatist propaganda, while at the same time, they dammn poor Americans to evcen worse lives of poverty.

All your small world and globalization arguments are pure bullshit. The poor of this country are being trampled under the feet of illegals.
