I'm so heart broken right now I feel like I've lost a family member. I cannot explain this feeling. He was such a genuine person.
this just aint right.
rip
As a fellow Catholic, I say for Tim Russert:
Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen
Tim, you will be missed greatly.
if russert is vetting at the pearly gates, a lot of us are in trouble. he will be missed, my sunday mornings will never be the same. May God bring peace to his family.
I am utterly shocked. It pains me to think that such a great man has passed away. But we should not forget his great contribution to humanity. His work as a great journalist contributed to humanity in so many ways, both nationally and internationally.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his son, wife, and father. They are lucky people to have had such a great human involved in their life.
This is shocking and devastating. A loss to the entire nation.
I haven't cried in years, but when Chuck Todd, his prized mentee came on the air to express what Russ meant to his career and, the tears were unstoppable.
Thank you Tim Russert for enlightening me on politics in such a clear and insightful way.
My prayers go out to Tim's father, Big Russ, and the entire Russert family on this Father's Day Weekend.
God Bless Tim, it is so sad you wanted to be here for this election..
What a HUGE loss at a time when we need him most! One of the most DECENT LOVING people on the planet.
The good in this is that the pain we feel reminds us how much we yearn for TRUTH, GOODNESS AND LIGHT. The loss underscores the qualities we have to grow in our media and personal lives if we are to survive and lead the world with the values the Nation was founded upon.
"Hold on to your seatbelt, Tim! It's a wild ride to Heaven!" We share your family's pain and pray for them and for the many whose lives you touched. We will miss your wide smile, warm heart and generous spirit.
Not sure that you "replace" Tim Russert ... but listening to Chuck Todd describe his relationship with Russert on MSNBC, I'm thinking Todd would be a good successor.
Interesting idea.
wow. can't say i was a fan of his brand of journalism, but i've always admired the passion he had for his work. his absence will be noticeable as this election season continues.
My heart goes out to Tim's family. He was a great man, a man who loved his work, his family, and was the best at what he did. There will be a terrible hole in the political news world with his loss. He was a great man.
May God bless him and his family.
Sad news indeed! I will miss him very much!
Sympathy and prayers to his family and friends. A shock, indeed, and so close to Father's Day.......
Again, my condolences to his family
He will be missed....
