This is sad news indeed
I will never see his googly eyes again! He was the best, and he was always smiling. He seemed to be a happy person, something we rarely see. Calm and patient, never rude. God bless his soul.
It's a reminder that every day could be our last.
Sometimes that's a truth we forget. It seems Mr. Russert was in a good frame of mind and had a family who loved him and who he loved when he died. That's a good thing.

What terrible news. I feel like I've lost a brother. My husband and I have had a standing Sunday morning coffee date with Tim and his panels of journalists and politicians for many years. And when I watched Brokaw choke up over delivering the news, I just sat at my desk at work and cried. God bless the Russert family.
His very impacting book "Big Russ" was really meaningful to my grandpa who died this year. My family's best wishes go out to Mr. Russert's family.
He was a tremendous journalist and a credit to the profession.
