Is it just me or does Brokaw sound really choked up? He keeps stumbling over his words.
Yes, it's pretty clear Brokaw is quite affected by this news.
Imagine having to go on the air and inform the world your friend is dead.
I broke up when telling my mom that my brother-in-law had unexpectedly died.
Just check out his body language ... he's moving around a lot and obviously very uncomfortable. And yeah, there is a definite quiver in his voice.
Say it isn't so. Tim, I'm going to miss you every Sunday. What sad news.
