This is exactly what I thought on reading the article. There is no legitimate reason, in her list, that justifies voting for McSame. She is a woman and a nurse, one that should not be voting for McSame, no matter what. I certainly hope she is stripped of her delegate status. Shame on her.
I infer pressure from her conservative military sister is the real key to this ill-considered move; sour grapes exploited into rash ill-advised action. How did she ever become a delegate? There is not a single good reason in her list of grievances (all GOP talking points) for abandoning the party of her supposed beliefs.

If a member of an organisation ceases to hold the tenets of that organisation the proper thing to do is to quit.
She is entitled to support McCain as an individual but as a delegate she represents thousands of democrats. It is their vote that she is casting, not hers. She is actually way out of line.
The unfortunate woman was probably one of Rush Limbaugh's followers participating in Operation Blow Hard, the follow-up of Limbaugh's failed Operation Chaos.

If she thinks she is making a stand, she is mistaken. What she is doing is putting her IQ on display and you need to squint to see it.
Its not just about the candidate, its about the principles, the ideals and what a political party stands for. And there is no greater difference than the principles of Democrats and Republicans.
The great thing to come out of this is that Debra Bartoshevich has to follow through for there is no turning back. Like Liberman, can not be trusted on there word.

There are those that don't seem to understand the political process. Shocking that a delegate to the national convention would be one.
She needs to resign her seat at the convention and go be a Republican. What a ditz!
If she's a delegate , she can't vote for Mccain. People need to report this woman! it's a out rage! Hillary Clinton needs to be out there telling her supporters to vote for Obama. They show NO respect or loyalty by voteing for a republican. These people are doing it out of anger and spite! That is insane to vote for some one with your complete oppisite views just because your angry your candidate didn't get the nomination! She wouldn't have voted for Hillary in the first place if her views where that of Mccain, as Hillary and Obama has clearly pretty close to the same program ideas and path for this country. Some one should demand she loses her seat at the convention! we need to screen our delegates a lot better from know on and make sure, we get adult and not little kids who act out of anger in not being able to win every time!

First, I don't think she even understands what the word "disenfranchised" means -- given how she is using it.
Second, clearly - she has not concept of the issues for which Hillary has stood and for which Hillary has fought heart and soul her entire life - Apparently, she is experiencing such a void of knowledge in this area that she will vote for and support John McCain - wh stands against EVERYTHING for which HER candidate, Hillary represents
Finally, she can vote in the election any way that she wants -- and then she can explain to her daughters, her neices, her granddaughters and the other important women in her life -- the women who will benefit or suffer her decisions --- she can explain to them - if McCain gets in - how she helped to set back their rights decades and how she helped to defeat EVERYTHING for which Hillary fought.
A party of intolerance? ROFLMAO! Right! You would NEVER see the Rethugs with a female or black candidate!
