Jessica Simpson was photographed Friday at the LAX airport proudly sporting a "Real Girls Eat Meat" t-shirt. GROSS!!! Now I'm all for having your own opinions, but if you're a celebrity you know your junk is gonna be photographed, and what better way to turn an entire community against you then to wear a shirt like that.

So listen up all you kick-ass vegetarian celebrities who read this blog -- it's time for action. Stop over to cafepress.com or herbivoreclothing.com and get yourself some deliciously outspoken vegan garb to be photographed in. The first celeb we see sporting a pro-vegetarian shirt will get a special Ecorazzi salute and I will personally write an article detailing your essential badassness! It's time to fight fire with fire!

And Jessica let's face it -- the career ain't doing so well. Do you REALLY think you can afford to jeopardize your fan base even just a little?

As a long-time vegan, I'm embarrassed by this "story." You're just trying to stir up drama. If she wants to eat meat, let her eat meat. Many of us vegans are vegans because we choose to eat this way, not because we have an agenda to change the world.

And while we're on the subject, I hope you know that being vegan does not mean being healthy, as you can be terribly unhealthy and be on a vegan diet (I know this from personal experience). Also, being a vegan does not equate to being "green," especially if you are the kind of vegan who eats lots of fake meat, eats processed foods, eats snack foods with palm oil, and uses cosmetics with palm oil. There are many other ways to be vegan and not green.

Vegan and green are two separate pursuits. It's definitely possible to be either without the other. If you're truly about "eco," ecorazzi, try to stick to eco issues, instead of smokescreens or things that seem vaguely ecological (like veganism), but which may not be, under closer inspection.

So, how about those who DO eat meat and see nothing wrong with it, since humans are, after all, meat-eaters? Are meat-eaters, (who VASTLY outnumber vegetarians, by the way), allowed to be offended by those who proclaim their vegetarianism so loudly, and continually hurl insults at those who are NOT vegetarians?

This is so silly as to be ridiculous, and the writer, who obviously has an axe to grind, (and looks to be uneducated as well), looks very much to be a snob.

Humans are NOT "meat eaters" !!!

We don't have the teeth for ripping meat, to begin with !!

Most important, our bodies are not designed to digest meat. Our intestinal tracts are SO long, that by the time meat gets 1/3 of the way through, it is ROTTING !!!

Animals have shorter intestinal tracts, and can expell the meat before it rots.

Rotting meat, treated with hormones and antibiotics, are one of the main reasons we are no longer a healthy society. It's killing us with toxins in our system created by the rotting meat...causing all kinds of cancers....and the anti-bodies our bodies are creating to fight all this is causing false positive results on HIV tests !!!

As long as animals can be considered personal property or hunting is permitted it will be legal to eat meat. There's nothing wrong with promoting something legal. "Real" is obviously anachronistic in this context and is only intended to annoy the easily annoyed.

So either Simpson's too dumb to know her 'junk is gonna be photographed' or she doesn't care if people like you like her or not. I'm hesitating, but I don't think she's that dumb.

You're all for people having opinions that differ from yours, you just want to start a fight whenever they do. I get it.
