Hannity and LImbaugh are not 'given' airtime. In fact, I'll bet the stations they are on wish their shows were much longer. It's called ratings. And like it or not, half the people in this country (and maybe more) agree with them.

And what's wrong with car salesmen? They have to earn a living too.

Actually, the overwhelming majority supports Liberal programs and policies if they aren't told they're liberal. At the height of his popularity, the majority of Americans opposed his policies.

When I meet people who say they're conservatives, I tell them "you only think you're conservative." Then I explain to them that every singly govt action that improves life came from liberals, and that without us this would be the 3rd world nation conservatives drool over.

People reject things labeled "liberal" because of propaganda and forced ignorance.

Whenever people are told of a progressive idea without a label, they always go for it.

I didn't use a single bad word. Not even close to one? What's up. My comment was removed for purportedly bad words filter? I will be willing to admit that genocide and republican are both bad words, but what gives? Are we really that afraid of words?

I've experienced the same problem the past few days (ie. the bad words filter). I reviewed my comments and they did not include one single bad word. I suspect that either:

1. the bad words filter sensitivity level is set too high and is reporting a lot of false positives (like you use the word "assign" and it sees "ass" -- and not the rest (?)); -or-

2. moderators are overwhelmed with the number of posts that they are trying to regulate. So, when they get bogged down, they just have that generic message popup until they get caught up (?).

I try posting again a few hours after initial attempts fail, sometimes with minimal changes, and I finally get my comments posted...!
