Men, men, men. Same old, same old. Obama campaign shows its sexism in so many ways. A group that a girl can get behind, if she wants to be their sweetie.

Dont even havr to go thast far. Look at his wife and children and how much he loves and respects her. Look at how he didnt throw the whole kitchen sink at Hillary because in the event that she actually won, she wouldnt be damaged. However, i wish she would have treated him the same way. But thats what happens when greed gets in the way. Always will be a loser.

Umm, I counted four women on that list. I agree it's not even 50%, but the pool of qualified candidates is, unfortunately, not 50% women.

Jee, last i heard it was conservative groups making up stories about the 'whitey' tape, not Hillary supporters. You're not very smart, are you?

I support Barack Obama. Unfortunately, all the ridiculous comments that his supporters (that don't know what not to say) leave on websites like this are what is going to lose the election for him.

Notice this story has nothing to do with the ugliness that came out of the Primary. And yet you continue to bring up the divisions. You're pathetic.

This is a serious question, not intended as sacrcasm. "Why is this the lead story on Huffington Post?"

Does anyone believe our country will be better or worse off, depending upon which political hack gets involved with which candidate? Haven't we seen and heard enough about Karl Rove, Dick Morris, Lee Atwater, Roget Ailes, James Carville, Mary Matalin, Marlin Fitzwater, Lanny Davis, Harold Ickes, et al?

This is scary. I cannot see any good coming from Obama takinig on a leader of the It
dishonest, mean-spirited, divisive, poorly managaged, failed Clinton campain. She is a long-time Hillary insider, who by all evidence was incompetent. What is the point of this? Can he really trust her? Is Obama caving in to Clintons, the political establishment? I can't think of one thing she brings to the Obama campaign that is worth the cost of compromising the high road.

US & Iran two of a kind
We are a nation stuck in ideological positions and seldom change our habits. Here we are mired in an economic downturn, gas $5 a gallon, a foreign policy that lacks any direction and yet we are thinking about electing a senile old man who is our only war hero alive today, John McCain.

We express puzzlement of nations that elect leaders who have ravished their economies and who titter on War criminal status. President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, a man who brought a productive nation to its knees, a nation in hunger and violence, a nation that prints money that is actively used as toilet paper. Iran, a nation that elects leaders like Ahmadinejad who openly denies the Holocaust, chooses to scare other nations with the building of a bomb and bring unwanted scrutiny upon the nation of Iran.

How could nations elect leader like those two men, can’t they see that it is counterproductive for them, their children and their country. Why must they keep voting for their tribe, and their religion, it simply make no sense, we in America argue. Yet we are considering election a man like John McCain, a leader who possess all the skills of leaders we ourselves reject.

The very next time we choose to question the nations of Iran and Zimbabwe, let us first look inward, therein lies the answers to our questions.

At admire and respect this man so much. He is taking his time to build a general election team. He has done so much for this party in two weeks than McCain have done for his party since February. That is really sad. I am glad we have a leader that is excerising his leadership! When we are in full gear of this election, Obama will be on stoppable. He will McCain spend money he doesnt have because of his 50 states plan.

I had heart failure for a moment thinking this meant Hillary, but then I realized Obama is trying to build a team that works in an integrated fashion, i.e. people work for both the pres and the veep, open sharing of info, connected offices that kind of thing. He's picking the VP chief because the VP is going to be part of the machine not outside of it.

not sure i understand what the fuss is about - HRC has been out of the VP running for a while, the 'dealbreaker' was bubba's refusal to disclose donor lists to his presidential library

Well, if she's out of the VP running, as you say, a lot of women are going to leave with her. Obama's terrific numbers among women all came out after her speech. He's going to have some that will just stay home rather than come out to vote.

I don't believe that any woman who cares about this country will be childish enough to stay home or vote for Mc'Cain just because H'illary lost. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.

But, I believe the recent poll numbers are proof that a majority of the women who supported H'illary love their country and want what's best for it. The few who are still screaming and yelling are more likely right wing plants.

Some people's heart and soul is captured in a moment and come through in a photogragh. Hers is very apparently warm and peaceful. She was one of the better people in the Hillary campaign from everything I read and heard. She battled with Mark Penn which tells me she was right. She also had said she would work for Obama long before the last primary.
