First up was a clip of Cal Thomas on Fox News discussing the "angry" black women frequently portrayed on television in a segment on Michelle Obama. Later, a CNN anchor was befuddled about the link between flushing toilets, water and fire.

Yesterday I wrote my second e-mail to the Fox News sponsor, Aleve. I had received a response from their marketing department telling me they appreciated my input about their advertising on Fox News.
However, they went on, it would be impossible to find a network where all people agreed with all the programming.

I also wrote to Aleve and Bayer. We should all write letters and let them know that this type of "Reporting" is unacceptable and we will not purchase their products if they continue to advertise on Fox News.
Yep. I had a terrible headache yesterday, took 2 of my last Aleve pills. I will miss the product, but feel a little better about myself. There are other products, I'm sure.

For example, if a pretty blonde white girl goes missing, it's a wall to wall 24/7 story on the MSM day after day. If a pretty little black girl goes missing, it's just another statistic that isn't something the public needs to know.

Over a period of about two years, my black and white colleagues and I actually started comparing these cases, and though most us blacks were already aware of this inequity, most of our white friends were amazed! Of course, there are exceptions to these cases, but overall the outcome is generally the same ... depending on the color of the skin.

As a black male, I think what Cal said needs to bought out into the open. Cal Thomas considers himself to be a man of some intelligence, and the best way to get back at someone who thinks they are intelligent is to make fun of them. Cal does not need to be debated point for point, he needs to be laughed at and ridiculed. It doesn't work when you call him a clown and you do not treat him as one. So just laugh at him and pretend to take him seriously and then laugh some more.
Yes it does. Black men have been saying this for years and got shouted down. Even other black women say it and get attacked. When a white man says it, it goes mainstream and they are exposed outside the black community. So they defend, defend, defend as if they own the patent on justifiable anger.

As a Black woman, it angers me that so many of us are mischaracterized. This guy names certain Black women - Maxine Waters, Angry? No, passionate. Cynthia McKinney, Angry? No, "crazy."

Looking at Maxine Waters, all i see is strength in her. I see her fighting to get things done and not taking no for an answer. Im sure she can be compassionate and kind also, but us women seem to always have to be fighters to get what we want for us and our communities. Be it black or white, Us women as have to be fighters. I applaud these black female politicians who fight to get it done
And as much as i dislike Hillary, i appluad her for shattering that glass ceiling, although that ceiling was not what kept her behind...

Many black women are not angry, are married to their best friends who are black men, have kind and sweet sons, who would never hurt anyone, and are Americans who just pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps and never took a 'handout' from anyone. Some of these women like arugula, some like KFC, some speak ebonics, some standard English, most both. Some worked hard after high school, many have more degrees than FOX would ever give them credit.
Americans, this is one mor thing up to us (U.S.) and not corporate media. TOGETHER WE STAND OR DIVIDED WE FALL. Each of us have to decide this time.
Sorry, but everything you've just stated is only in a few select areas. Get out more. Many black women ARE angry. Some spend their lives comparing and competing with white women. They rail against racism but are oblivious to how that effects black men and their ability to provide for them and feel like men. Since they are so oblivious, they rail against black men for not fulfilling the role of white men. It becomes a battle of disrespect. A black man has to fight racism in his life AND his women at home who ridicules him and only cares about HER problems. This hostility runs the man off. They then transfer this anger and disrespect to their black sons. Minimizing and emasculating them at every turn. Some are even feminized to weed out maleness, seen as an aberration to these women and a reminder of all their past hurt. Black women have been in SERIOUS denial for a long time and kept their fingers pointed at black men. Well, now their "anger" is seen mainstream, they can't hide it anymore behind being "skrong black women".

I think it would serve your argument better to qualify your remarks to SOME black women. As a black woman myself, I do not fit into your characterization of black women at all. I honor all black men, beginning with my husband and my son. I fully recognize the racism that they must battle each day, both overt and covert, and it is their strength that holds me up so that I am empowered to strengthen them in turn. And as I respect and give honor to them for the men they are, so too do they respect and give honor to me for the woman I am. Our rich heritage is founded on the love and strength and faith of the black men and women who came before us, and to dishonor our black men today would be to dishonor myself. I have no anger toward anyone, black or white; I have only love and hope, for there is goodness in all of us, though some are still evolving. But my black men are my heroes, and because of them, I am the strong black woman I am today.
Honey, I don't what black women you have met to make you feel this way? Because this black woman and her friends are all college educated at minimum, myself I am in medical school. We all have healthy relationships with black men. We do not berate and belittle our men, we hold them up.
