Former Clinton confidant Lanny Davis is joining Fox News Channel as a political analyst, the network said Monday.
Davis was also a vocal supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton's (D-N.Y.) presidential run, appearing as a surrogate for her on all three major cable networks.

And some would say that the Clinton machine marches on. Quiet, withdrawn to certain boundaries, but preparing for the next war. Against Obama.
So we've got this guy joining Fox where he can wear white sheets and pointy hats and called Obama and his wife nasty names, yuk it up, say he loves the "real" people -- the white ones -- and keep Hillary's dixiecrat base loyal to her. Where's Icky Harold? I won't even watch Fox News on my television, and this guy calls himself a Democrat but he's on Murdoch's payroll.
Remember Murdoch had the Clintons out attacking msnbc constantly as part of his efforts to crush msnbc so he can take over their cable news spot, as well as take over the business cable news position. One hand washes the other. This is kind of like 1925 -- some people think the war is over, others say look down the road because there's another one coming.
Hillary is calling her donors for what purpose? To remind them not to give a penny to Obama? To remind them to go onto the media and campaign against Obama? Stay tuned.
Well, what do you know....???? Every time I come on HuffPo there is a new reason to hate FOX news and renew my vow to never watch them again.
Lanny Davis is today's reason. I can only say, "Thank you FOX News... I see I am still not missing a thing."

Why all the nasty comments? Seriously. I was ticked off about the way Lanny twisted facts in the primary, but that's politics. What ... you think Obama has never, ever "shaded" or "slanted" a statement? Get over it. Obama won the primary (yay). Now we all need to move on.
We've seen Lanny work magic with words. If he does that to the right wingers on Fox, it will be the first time anyone has effectively represented the Left on that network. That should be a good thing, not reason to be pissed off.
If he doesn't end up as an "Alan Colmbs", setting up easy spikes for Hanity.
I didn't personally like Lanny's approach, but perhaps that's because i've been an Obama supporter from the start. I have to admit that he's quite smart, very shrewd, thinks well on his feet, and will likely be an effective representative of the left ... something Fox has long needed.
I LOVE THIS!! It appears that a complete realignment (well maybe not a complete, but....) of both parties will happen before the General Election. All this makes it so possible for Colin Powell and Chuck Hagel to endorse Obama. However, what does Lanny hope to accomplish? Fox is the network that attempted, with every bit of enegy it had, to destroy Bill and Hillary Clinton--his best friends. Lanny is so weak. He will be forever cast to the hinterlands of politics.
and you apparently know nothing about politics if you want Powell's endorsement. the guy that gave the go ahead on the Iraq war with his speech at the UN.
What's he going to bring, the black vote or the neo cons?
