Michelle Obama And Matthew Broderick Talk About James Wilkie's Barack Endorsement (VIDEO)

Michelle Obama joined the ladies of "The View" for Tuesday's show as a cohost, and the first guest was Matthew Broderick. In April Broderick's wife Sarah Jessica Parker sat on the same show and said how their five-year-old son James Wilkie is a huge Barack Obama fan, even imitating his enthusiasm. Michelle asked why, and then explained in part why kids seem so drawn to her husband.

In my nine year old's class earlier this year, they had a mock election. When she told me this, I asked her who she voted for and she said "Barack" in the most incredulous tone as if to say, how could you even ask me this.

I asked her why she chose him because I was not aware that she even knew who he was at the time. She said that she chose him because she liked what he has to say and that he was black. After I got a good laugh, I told her that the first part of her answer was perfect but that the color of his skin was not the best reason to pick a pres.

Since then, she has been a complete election nut. She even has debates with her school friends over their choice of who should be the next president. It turns out that the battles have always been between Clinton and Obama so either way, the children has chosen a democrat as our next POTUS.

The children have spoken, down with the republicans, cannot wait to see Barack, Michelle and their beautiful children occupy the White House.

i met Michelle two weeks ago in los angeles. and.. i back in the 90's i met HRC... and i have had the opportunity to meet many others. AND i have met Barack three times.

in regards to michelle..­. i have never been as impressed with someone like her... EVER. and.. i really didn't know what to expect. smart and funny and fun and so sincere (Ariana was there as well). We should be so lucky to have this woman in the white house. actually, Laura is a class act too. she just has bad judgement in the men she chooses.

another quick note: i have met every president (and vp) since nixon. only two of them where the same person with the camera rolling .. or NOT. Reagan and Barack Obama. I wasn't a fan of RR politics.. but he was what you saw. and you have to respect that to some degree... like it or not. and Barack has that too.

I used to like Laura too until she asked people to donate money to the RNC to honor W's birthday. I thought donate to the RNC??!! How about donating to a charity?!! It showed me her priorities REALLY are out of whack. She's just the Barbara but much more discreet.

My daughter absolutely goes crazy for Barackalak Obamalama. Makes her laugh in hysterics. I got her interested in politics at the age of four by making her laugh. I love it.

Funny how kids really like him...my nephew 7 ,is educating my sister 47, on Barack and the elections; he comes home excited about some political news or Barack score; it's both weird and cute.

I saw him on camera entering a rally months ago, and as he was passing through the crowd a little girl broke down crying with the excitement of seeing him. He stopped, got down to her level, and talked with her to calm her down. It was a tiny thing that I thought gave me a glimpse into his true character.

We've had enough of the "manufactured" panderer's, we need the REAL THING more than ever these days and grateful for the opportunity the Obama Family is giving us!! My nephew (4) just likes to say Barack Obama, really slowly, over and over.
My son, also 4, is less likely to riff on his name, but catches rhymes that match with Obama -- anything ending in "O'rama" becomes Obama.

The right wingers absolutely HATE accomplished women as first ladies. Remember how they vilified Hillary when she said "I am not going to sit sit around and bake cookies"? That's why Laura has been so silent, and of course, because of that, she is the only thing Bush has got going for him. I am proud that Michelle will be the second first lady that is accomplished like Hillary, very educated like Hillary, (and a lawyer like Hillary!) and she will be another great role model for women. Republicans want a woman who knows their places...y­ou know, kitchen, bedroom, and taking care of kids. It reminds me of Hitler-Kitcher, Kinder, Kunder. NOT in the Democratic party, thank God. Things are changing! Try to villify Michelle, and we as former Hillary supporters will flock to her side and stick up for her. It worked when they tried to villify Theresa Heinz, because her husband was such a weak candidate.
