Given the artificial food/ color/ steroids/ ritalin/ anti-depressants these kids are brought up on (Git off my lawn!!), It's no wonder that after years of ingesting that crap that they can't maintain an erection.

I can only imagine what they'll look like in their thirties, let alone fifties. I can kiiiiick, I can streeeetch and I'm FIFtY!!

What TV commercials do not tell you:
A man who is no good in the sack is still no good on v.
V doesn’t do anything for PE.

This is a big reason, I’m sure, that when viagra first came out, women over sixty-five were not necessarily happy about it. The male dominated media focused on prudy women, but for this generation married before the 1960's, I am positive that was only half the story.

Men need to pay attention to what women are saying here: quality is most important. If a man without ED takes v and feels better about himself and therefore quality is improved, then it really is all in the mind.
If someone did a true survey, they would find that most women would much rather prefer men watch an instructional video than to take a blue pill. Of course, we probably would never see the study as no pharm company would fund it.

I'm reminded that a few years ago there was a TV ad shown everywhere for a pill to help people who genetically couldn't metabolize dairy products eat cheese (I even recall the actress Paige Turco, was the spokesperson). The ad was a huge success. But it turned out almost 90% of the people buying the product didn't actually need help digesting dairy. It makes you wonder how many people are needlessly taking Viagara, Lipitor, and all the other heavily advertised drugs out there. The medicine cabinets in the bathrooms of some otherwise perfectly healthy 20-somethings look like pharmacies!

A partner offered it for kicks -- tried it. Made me talk crazy sh*t like a country redneck, then I went out and got a speeding ticket, THEN had a headache! An expensive orgasm.

No thanks. If you're truly excited about who you are and who you're with, you don't need it, unless there's some physiological malfunction.

One of my buddies tried this stuff. He said he took half a pill and the stuff worked big time. He went to the hospital after having an erection for 8 hours!!! I heard that and realized I won't be taking that stuff til I absolutely need to (hopefully in like 50 years)!!

Seriously, I hope you never need it either but chances are that once you hit your late 40s & early 50s you'll notice that ol' Pancho seems to be runnin' outta gas. This will be in spite of your libido and willingness to perform.

Hopefully, by then, modern medicine will have matured to the point where side affects and fears will be a thing of the past.

Never be ashamed or afraid of the "Happy Pill". It's your friend!

I'm really glad that NBC decided to have an honest discussion regarding Young Men's preformance anxiety and not some over-the-top ignorant 'battle of the sexes' interview. Thanks NBC for taking on a story like this with the integrity and responsibility that the American public deserve...

I suppose it never occurs to them that they could have a stroke or an anyeurism at age 20. Viagra was intended as a drug to treat shock.

Tell Dr. Judy, we aren't all scared of successful, confident women. If a man under 30 needs Viagra then he needs to check with a medical doctor first. Make sure it isn't physical illness first. After that, make sure you're not dealing with a high maintenance individual who can just drain the life out of you. (Yes, men are like that too.) After that, just frakkin enjoy yourselves.

if a guy under 30 can't get it up and keep it up longer than a guy 60 then his partner must be either ugly, boring in bed, or he should try the other hand, or buy an new doll.

No one needs to be taking VIagra and other enhancements unless they truly a serious medical problem and the only reason that someone under 30 should be using this is if they have severe diabetes or perhaps are paraplegic or even quadraplegic.

Even older men should not be taking these unless they have serious problems that can not be helped by ordinary means.

Guys keep your bod clean of drugs and use them only when they are truly needed.

I have a different take. Young men are accustomed to taking pills. Perhaps they've been in Ritalin since age 12. Or took Xanax in college for anxiety. Or Prozac to even out their emotions. They are comfortable taking prescription drugs.

Also, PORN. I don't think it's just women who fall prey to changing themselves in response to porn. Shaving down to resemble a 12 year old girl? Porn. More men are shaving themselves too from what I hear (my source? Howard 100!) And since porn stars now use Viagra - I assume porn viewers now feel the pressure to last for "up to four hours." Wait, isn't that a dangerous side effect and not a perk?

Pube hair is gross. Porn definitely encourages women getting rid of pubic hair, but so do bikinis. I live in Miami where women getting waxed is the norm, and they DEFINITELY don't look like little girls. Hair locks in must and just looks unkempt.

As for the pill popping habit, that may be true for some. But I tried Viagra once and I won't even take a Tylenol (mostly because I think it's a placebo).

Sweetmoses, most women don't show up at the beach with pubic hair cascading down their thighs... I'm talking about the pre-pubescent child look. Bare assed naked. Not proper grooming and maintenance (well now this sounds like an Animal Planet or HGTV conversation.)

And have you all heard the ads for the "Man Groomer" to remove back hair? I roar at that one too. Yes, copious back hair can be icky - but how about a man whose back feels like Hell Raiser's head as it grows out? Cactus man? I just find it interesting that men are being confronted with similar insecurities as women these days.

I'd say Big Pharma is to blame marketing meds to people who really don't need them.

And every drug has side effects.

Very stupid to be taking this stuff so young. Stupid to be taking it old, too.

I'm almost certain Viagra damages the heart. I took it for a little while, and besides the dizziness and headaches, I could feel something going on with my ticker, so I stopped immediately. Another "cool" thing being sold are the Red Bull type drinks, that also affect your heart, at least mine, similar heart pains and feelings of anxiety.

Well, said the crusty old sheep, back in my day i walked around with a hard on. If any healthy male under 30 needs Viagra, based on the above experience, I'd say that there's something wrong. And most of it is psychological.

I don't think any of us under 30 take it because we NEED it. It's more like putting a new cam on your V8. Who couldn't use a few extra horses?
