McCain: I 'Didn't Love America' Until Held Prisoner (VIDEO)

Republicans have hammered Michelle Obama for her remarks in February that she was proud of America "for the first time in my adult life." Tonight, however, Dan Abrams showed footage he uncovered of a Fox News interview with John McCain on March 13, 2008, in which McCain said, "I didn't really love America until I was deprived of her company."

Abrams thinks McCain's comments could undermine the "right wing's steady attacks against Michelle Obama."

What an unpatriotic fool. This guy is not an American. He was born in Panama. Something is fishy here. He doesn't love America. Where is his flag pin? Things are starting to add up here. This guy cannot be trusted.

My MIL was also born in Panama as her father was stationed there in the early 30s. She is an American citizen, as I'm sure John McCain, is, as well.

I absolutely don't want him to win but that's an argument that insults military brats everywhere.

Well...well...well. It will be interesting to see McCain handles this one. What's particularly scary is that since McCain was in the military, one would assume that he automatically loved this country. Obviously, that wasn't the case for McCain. Yet he had the nerve to jump all over Michelle Obama. What a hypocrite.
