Zimbabwe Government Militias Kill, Mutilate Four Opposition Youth Activists

London Times:

The murderous violence being driven by President Robert Mugabe's militias reached new levels today with the killing and mutilation of four young men, the largest number of fatalities in a single incident in the last 10 weeks of Zimbabwe's election campaign.

Three of the men were Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) youth activists, defending the home of a local official from attack by Zanu (PF) youths in the sprawling dormitory township of Chitungwiza about 30 km south of Harare.

their voters and slowly starving his people to death?
Is this not also genocide?
Where is the voice of reason from the African Union?
This man is a criminal and must be stopped and yet I hear so little outrage as the
desperate people of a once prosperous country, are forced into further humiliation.
Is there nobody who will speak for these poor people, not one neighbouring country?
Mugabe is evil incarnate and needs to be defeated, I hope it will be soon.

I've said it before, I'll say it again........When apartheid existed in South Africa, the Congressional Black Caucas, the so-called progressive clergy, all the civil-rights leaders, and liberal celebrities were ranting and screaming all over the place. But when it comes to Zimbabwe and Mugabe, these same people are completely quiet. Why you could hear a pin drop from a mile away. So where is everybody?
