Just in case anybody had forgotten that Kobe Bryant has never won an NBA title without Shaquille O'Neal, the big man sent out a reminder.

The Phoenix Suns center can be seen rapping that "Kobe couldn't do without me" in a video posted online at celebrity news and gossip site TMZ.com

During the two-minute video, a grinning O'Neal lurches through an improvised rap in which he skewers the Lakers' star, with whom he won three straight NBA titles from 2000-2002 while with Los Angeles.

O'Neal repeatedly says, "Kobe, tell me how my ass tastes."

"I was freestyling. That's all. It was all done in fun. Nothing serious whatsoever," O'Neal told ESPN.com Monday. "That is what MC's do. They freestyle when called upon. I'm totally cool with Kobe. No issue at all."

Keep reading here.

Noticed Shaq cannot even jump anymore he just lumbers and uses his body....prediction first game Kobe plays against Shaq...Kobe dunks on Shaq.

Shaq made a mistake with this...he is going down in performance while Kobe is all about getting better.

I think Shaq still harbors resentment over his own situation, and is projecting it onto his favorite scapegoat, namely Kobe. This is nothing new. He treated Kobe like an upstart little brother for years.
Kobe resented it, I am sure, and when Shaq, demanding more money from the Lakers, asked to be traded when it was not forthcoming, used Shaunie as a surrogate to say that Kobe was "selfish," and the trade was his fault. Jerry Buss is no fool and was unwilling to invest in Shaq o the degree he wanted because Shaq was perpetually on the DL, and showed up out of shape to each training camp.

The reality is Shaq is hurting. He is pysically declining and clearly not the same player he once was. To add insult to injury, his wife publicly embarrassed him this year by taking off with a lover and his money. People were shocked that they got back together, but they have 6 kids and Shaq was a "player" when she met him, so as usual, he has only himself to blame, yet, insteads looks for others.
Kobe has matured and his family has softened the ego he once had. Shaq still acts purile. This latest act is pathetic; truly sad. One would think he'd be madder at Kat Williams for saying Shaq's kids were three when they were born, and that they, like Shaq, repeat the last sentence they heard when they talk.

No don't get it twisted okay! When Kobe was brought up on those rap charges he tried to pin his problems on Shaq! So if the Big Man is still a little bitter I would be too. Hell where I come from when a brotha snitches, he will be dealt with!

You have no idea what you're talking about. If Shaq says it all in fun, assume that it is. However, the facts do speak for themselves. Kobe has not won a championship without Shaq.

Bwahahhahahha! Funniest I've heard in a long time!!! Kobe, tell me how my !@# taste? lol. When I actually heard it I couldn't stop laughing. Shaq is a fool! I agree with the poster who said it's all in fun. Though I hope this isn't the beginning of a West Coast - South FL feud! *laughs* That doesn't even sound right. Can't wait to hear what Stephen A. has to say about this.

Shaq says Kobe never won a ring without Shaq. Well Shaq never won a ring withouth a great guard. He won in Miami when it was Wades team, and he won in LA with Kobe. Without Kobe he would have 1 ring, and without Wade he wouldn't have the other. Kobe took a team who only had 1 player (Fisher) over 30 to the finals. This team had Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol as his #2 & #3 and neither had ever made it out of the first round before. As a matter of fact, with the exception of Kobe, Fisher and Walton nobody on that team ever made it out of the first round. Kobe led his team to the NBA finals, he just didn't have enough to beat the Boston Celtics.

When Kobe has more rings than Shaq, and leads his team to 3 or 4 more championships he won't ask Shaq how his ass tastes, because Kobe has class. He will just proudly wear his rings on both hands.

For all you who know nothing of Hip Hop (Kobe or Shaq don't either) but essentially what Shaq has done is challenge Kobe say something about him that may or may not be based in truth. If Kobe can do it more cleverly then he will win the "MC Battle" If I was Kobe I would have to come back with a comment about Shaq's wife and the gardener with Shaq's money........... LOL it really is all in fun

How 'bout that whopping championship Shaq helped to bring the Suns this year?

Sorry, Shaq, Kobe was MVP and took his team to the finals after your were done lumbering up and down the court and on an early summer vacation.

Shaq's a great sports star ... I am sure he didn't mean it.

What can you find wrong with that statement.
