David Letterman Shows Off Son's Tee Ball Card, Marvels (VIDEO)

David Letterman took on a moment on Monday night to show off son Harry's tee ball photo. "I know everybody goes through it, but you know, four-and-a-half years ago I was the only one in my house who smelled like I do. And now we got him walking around. He smells just the way I do! Now there's two of us who smell that way! Look at that kid."

Why feel sorry? Letterman isn't THAT old, and it is clear that he adores his little boy. Who wouldn't....that child is certainly a charmer.

My father was killed in a car accident when he was only 50, and my younger brother was only 14, and lots of kids never know their fathers. There are no guarantees in life.

I too was a former curmudgeon-ly pre parenthood type and now after kids even I too have succumbed to little cute faces warming ever part of your life.

It is true joy, I encourage it for everyone. A 3 year old is a great anti-depressant.

I saw this segment last night, and thought it was genuine and actually touching... although it IS Dave, so it was still funny too. My girlfriend saw the photo of Harry and said, "OMG, he looks so much like his dad! He's a miniature Dave!" I think she's right.
