Obama Downplays Scarlett Johansson Emails

Scarlett Johansson, a big supporter of Barack Obama, recently gushed that she frequently trades emails with the presidential candidate. Obama, however, is downplaying the notion that he walks in such lofty circles:

As he headed to a Hollywood fundraiser, Sen. Barack Obama downplayed the idea that he hobnobs with actress Scarlett Johansson...

...speaking to reporters aboard his campaign plane, Obama said the actress doesn't have his personal email address. "She sent one email to Reggie, who forwarded it to me," Obama said, referring to his 26-year-old personal assistant, Reggie Love. "I write saying, 'thank you Scarlett for doing what you do,' and suddenly we have this email relationship"

Powerful men are attractive. The race issue is a non issue. As soon as a man becomes important, graduates medical school, and certainly is in the running for the Presidency there is POWER. As many women know who once were married to men who became powerful, rich, or important professionals, it goes with the territory. This is not about *correspondence*. She is using her decolletage.

Of all the photos of this woman that are out there, many that show her looking quite young and glitz-free in t-shirts or just smiling, they use one of her and her boozoombas just right there in your face. This is how unnecessary crap gets started. Huffington Post is really lowering itself lately. Not cute.

This story is so misleading and suggestive. Give yourselves a round of applause on passing this one around. Are you trying to engender wide eyed speculation and creating / insinuating a relationship where there is none. Get a life please. I don't consider myself an e-mail buddy of Sen. O-bama, but I have received numerous replies from him , thanking me, informing me of what is happening, or telling me why they endorsed, like many others who have sign-up on to his web site. Geez, look at all my e-mail buddiese- his wife, David Plouffet, Al Gore, Steve Hildebrand, Governor Tim Kaine, Caroline Kennedy, and numerous others either, don't I feel special.
