John Yoo, David Addington Testify On Torture, Detention Policies (VIDEO)

David Addington, a longtime aide to Dick Cheney, and John Yoo, who helped write the infamous "torture memos," testified before the House Judiciary Committee today on the Bush administration's detention and interrogation policies. Both men offered evasive answers to seemingly simple questions. Yoo, at one point, was asked several times by Cmte. Chairman John Conyers whether or not the President had the authority to bury a detainee alive. Yoo was unable to offer an answer.

Could a President order medical experiments upon a prisoner? Could he order them placed in boiling water? Jeeezus....... this Yoo character is apparently employed by Berkeley; they could easily boot him out; and any students of his should let the University know what they think of this torture loving freak....

Yes, I do believe he teaches at Berkeley, which is really sick when you think about it. Perhaps the good students up there could do a little protesting about Yoo's destruction of basic american values. Guantanayoo Bay is his baby. Those little torture places in Eastern Europe. Why are these people talking about torturing children? That right there should lose that Yoo his job at Berkeley. Look at how child molesters are treated, yet Yoo can promote legal rationals for torturing children? Unbelievable. These people are just horrible, like amalgamations of macho mouse writers for 24 and Hannibal Lecter put together and given power! Help us all.
