Logan Ware

CBS' Lara Logan was involved in a Baghdad love triangle with a married US State Department contractor and CNN international correspondent Michael Ware, the New York Post reports.

This week's National Enquirer reported the news of Logan's Baghdad sex life, and implicated her as the cause of the State Department contractor's divorce. And while it named the contractor — Joe Burkett — it only described Ware as a "star CNN correspondent." The Post reports his name in Thursday's paper:

Passions got so hot in the combat zone that one of her lovers, Joe Burkett, brawled in a Baghdad "safe house" with her other paramour, CNN war reporter Michael Ware, a source said.

A close pal of Logan, who confirmed the allegations to The Post, said Burkett's marriage to Kimberly was already finished six months before they sparked up a relationship.

"She is not the cause of their divorce," the friend told The Post yesterday.

"It was going to happen."

The pal also said Logan was particularly hurt by the comments because she had met Kimberly Burkett and thought the two were "friendly."

As for the other claims, pals admitted that Logan had a one-time fling with CNN reporter Ware - but denied that there was any sort of fight between him and Burkett in Baghdad.

"There was no screaming match," the pal said.

Mike's only minus, is his leaning nose. otherwise, he's sexy and very "deep boring", in a war journalism sense. No wonder Lara is attracted to him as the center if the heatwave in Baghdad. Go mike! Go for it! No more war stories, please.

And why do we care? Seriously, people are dying over there and we care about who's sleeping with who.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Wow! Only in America!

Listen. Ms. Ware took a shot at the complascent, incompetent press coverage in Iraq and now she's being trashed, along with Michael Ware, one of the few correspondents not in the administration's pocket, by Rupert Murdoch's Post.
That's Retribution 101, but why HuffPost lends itself to the trashing is a total mystery.

Check out the Lara Logan youtube video which conveys what she said about the 'American' media in the 'related video' section at the right of the following youtube of Scott McClellan being questioned about the neocon agenda at Barnes & Noble in Santa Monica (California) the week before last:

Lara has tried to bring attention to this issue and how the U.S. MSM gives minimal coverage to just what is really taking place in Iraq and Afghanistan. You can flip through a hundred stations and not see of hear one report about the brutal tragedy in Iraq that Americans are responsible. Just the way the Bush administration and most Americans like it. In the Bubble

If this story is true Lara is fooling herself and thinking that she is not partially responsible for pushing this marriage over the cliff then she is in as much denial about the effects of her 'alleged" affair as the American people are about what is taking place in Iraq and Afghanistan. Although obviously one effects far more people in far more dangerous ways. Denial runs deep.

Hopefully the mother gets the kid because obviously the husband did not take his commitment seriously.

Lara Logan has tried to bring our attention to the fact that our MSM spends very little time showing the American people what is really taking place in Iraq in their name. Just the way the Bush administration and most American people like it...in the bubble.

But if this story is true and Lara actually believes that her involvement with this contractor did not help push this marriage over the cliff then her denial is as deep as the American peoples in regard to the tragedy that has and continues to take place in their names in Iraq and Afghanistan. While obviously the denial and complicit behavior of the American people in regard to the war is far more serious than Lara's "alleged" affair. Sounds like denial runs deep in both circumstances.

If she is trying to take this womans child after the husband had an affair then she is doubly responsible and a real creep. Obviously this man did not take his commitment seriously and sounds like Lara falls into the same category.

Hopefully the mother gets the kid. The father is irresponsible

It is almost unbelieveable that the Huffington Post would lower itsself to spreading this salacious nonsense. Is the story about Brittany next? People are dying! Get with the real stories and leave this stuff for the tabloids and the people who read them.

Yep! The healiners this weekend included handwringing about BO's "brand" and a juicy story about Bill C entitled, It's my party and I'll cry if I want to. Perhaps the former republican socialite is flipflopping in her alligiances again. Or maybe not. Follow the money trail.

Agreed. Why the constant need to get into people's personal lives?

Certainly no one condones cheating with married men or women. But they are in a war zone, their lives are (conceivably) in constant jeopardy, and you just never know the whole story.

Don't want to be mean, but sometimes people fall in love. This can't always be helped.

Lara Logan is a sex godess who was born to be an action movie star. She needs to put on her spandex tights and get ready for her closeup.
