Politicker NH:

Two well-known New Hampshire Democrats have endorsed the Republican Party's presumptive presidential nominee. Jim McConaha and Valery Mitchell, who have pledged their support to U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), will serve as co-chairs of "New Hampshire Democrats for McCain."

The announcement comes the day before U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), McCain's presumptive general election opponent, campaigns in New Hampshire with U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.).

McConaha was a political appointment of President Clinton and served as New Hampshire director for the federal Farm Service Agency and was recently a member of U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd's presidential Steering Committee.

Naahhh, just a couple of children in adult bodies who didn't get their way. I once knew a kid who when the end of a chess game was clear wouldn't accept a concession. But when he was about to lose would knock over the board and say "oops," and then claim since the game was not completed, he hadn't lost.

At what point do these cross over Democrats start disagreeing with McCain and on what issues and will anything in Congress get accomplished? How do they tell their Democratic constituents that they supported a Republican candidate instead of the candidate Clinton is supporting? Things like universal health care, cutting taxes for the wealthy, pulling out of Iraq, appointing Justices to the SCOTUS. McCain and Clinton/Obama are miles apart on these issues.

Seems a lot of people in politics are more concerned about 15 minutes of fame/notoriety than solving issues.

No worries I'm sure Obama will keep them in mind when he is sworn in as the next President of the US. Some may think that Obama is a mild mannered guy but I think he has demonstrated that he can be rutheless when he wants to be. Dont expect any support when you come up for your relection hope your Rethug buddies will be out stumping and campaigning for ya.

It's not as if we are crying about it .................... I SAY TO THEM: "SEE YA and GOOD RIDDANCE".

Is this supposed to cause a reaction from us? If so there will be a very long wait.

We refuse to jump through hoops just because someone holds one up.

We never expected Barack to get ALL the votes ...... It's only in commnist countries where 1 candidate gets 100% of the votes........ After all we still live in a country which upholds the ideals of democracy, so what's the big deal if McCain gets their vote?

This isn't true, the headline should be stupid people for mcbush. You aren't a dem if you think this way but a sly dog pretending to be a dem because the other party has a strong candidate and you can't cut in line. Being a woman for mcbush is crazy unless you are just trying to get elected no matter what. They would probably be candidates for the party of satan if that was the only way they could get on the ballot. You people in conn and nh need to take a closer look at who is running for office in your states.

This made me laugh:

"This is the most important job in the world. We need a leader of proven competence, tested judgment and substantial experience in the modern world and, obviously, that is John McCain."

"Substantial experience in the modern world" does NOT refer to someone who doesn't know how to use a computer.

By "modern world" they were referring the years AD as opposed to BC.

Highly doubtful JC. More likely, many Republicans will be crossing over to Obama, when you get right down to it. The HRC lovers would like us to think this will be "somthing" though. I'm not buying it. It's sour grapes all the way.

Good Lord!!

Dodd and Kerry should be contacting them . . . personally.

What a lack of judgment!
