Rob Lowe Defended By Others: Nanny Labeled A 'Sexual Predator'

Apparently not all of Rob and Sheryl Lowe's employees have soured on the couple.

One of the former nannies who they sued for breach of contract and is now suing them for sexual harassment wasn't exactly a model of innocence herself, according to several declarations filed Thursday in Santa Barbara Superior Court, including one provided by the plaintiff's sister.

James Maclear, a chef who worked for the family in 2005 while they were living in London (and is not to be confused with the chef whom the Lowes previously sued), stated in court documents obtained by TMZ.com that the babysitter in question, Jessica Gibson, "had an overly flirtatious manner and appeared to be somewhat of a sexual predator."

On a shopping trip to Harrods, right after Gibson arrived in London, "she continued to be very forward and suggestive," Maclear stated. He also described a role-playing scenario Gibson supposedly enjoyed when she was carrying Sheryl Lowe's credit cards in which she pretended to be Sheryl and would call Maclear "honey" as if he was her husband.

Gibson would also flirt with him when his girlfriend was around, Maclear said, and she would "discuss oral sex with her boyfriend while the children were in earshot."

Lowe's history is problematic, but why assume the nanny is telling the truth? Basically a he said/she said case.

This douchee is a creep. He has a history of being the 'sexual predator.' Funny how he made a point to label the nanny what should have been his bestowed title. It is disgusting how some powerful individuals stomp on the defenseless, moneyless people. Their nanny is being victimized through paid employees by labeling her as gold digger. I hope the truth comes out about the Lowes low-class lifestyle.

Happened exactly the same thing with the Duke University rape case. the liberals were jumping all over those students just because they were white and the victim was black. never mind the credibility of the accuser.

well now as we know, the accuser was lying, the District attorney was overzealous and was playing politics (and now disbarred for life).....­.

iambusto, perhaps you missed the qualifier "IN THIS CASE".

Lowe has a nasty history with underage girls, threeways with females & males, several times captured on videotape.

And beyond "this case", the person with the money to hire the best lawyers, access to the media, have publicists will USUALLY win over a less moneyed, unknown person. Just look at all the cases we've seen over the past few decades of "celebrities" absolved of rape, murder, double murder, etc.

My statement has nothing whatsoever to do with liberalism vs conservatism.

As for the Duke case, yes, the students were cleared of the charges. Was that case being discussed here?
