Anti-Obama Vandalism: City Vehicles Spray Painted With Racial Attacks

The Orlando Police Department found dozens of city owned vehicles vandalized Saturday.

The vandal or vandals appear to have political intentions; most of the vehicles were spray painted with anti Obama sayings, with 'Obama' misspelled several times. Some of their vehicles had their gas caps removed.

Officials said that gas caps were removed from several of the vehicles and they aren't sure if gas was stolen or if something could have been added to the tanks that will damage the engines.

More details from WFTV Orlando:

Phrases including "Obmama smokes crack" and others phrases with racial slurs were written in blue spray paint on the white city cars and trucks.

Other vehicles appeared to have had their gas tanks tampered with.

Along with the paint, hundreds of business cards were left on windshields.

The cards contain criticism of Obama on one side, and support for Hillary Clinton and her family on the other side.

The same cards were left on channel nine vehicles in Daytona Beach several weeks ago.

The vandalism happened the same night the Obama campaign kicked off its Florida organization with parties across the state.

The authorities in Orlando realize that most vandals do not leave their card. They will be thoroughly investigating Obama supporters, many who are younger people who have been indoctrinated into his program.

This very thing was the topic of conversion some friends and me had a couple of weeks ago.

We wondered how bad racial tension, however ignorant it may be, would become.

I know this is terrible, but this is one of the reasons I haven't put an Obama bumper sticker on my car. I couldn't afford any big car repairs right now, and having had people in 2004 give me the finger and curse at me for having a Kerry sticker, I can only imagine what people might do with an Obama sticker.

I think the best thing to do is ignore this and not give these morons any press or response from anyone in political power. The more coverage and response they get the more feuled they will be.

I interned in Parliament in the 90s and there were bomb threats from time to time. The team approach in Britain is that all N Ireland terrorist acts were ignored in the press. It was effective--I say ignore these people.

I believe you are probably correct, but remember that Neocons and Fascists can and do masquerade as Democrats (or Republicans, for that matter).
