Bill Clinton Speaking

The Telegraph:

Bill Clinton is so bitter about Barack Obama's victory over his wife Hillary that he has told friends the Democratic nominee will have to beg for his wholehearted support.

Mr Obama is expected to speak to Mr Clinton for the first time since he won the nomination in the next few days, but campaign insiders say that the former president's future campaign role is a "sticking point" in peace talks with Mrs Clinton's aides.

The Telegraph has learned that the former president's rage is still so great that even loyal allies are shocked by his patronising attitude to Mr Obama, and believe that he risks damaging his own reputation by his intransigence.

A senior Democrat who worked for Mr Clinton has revealed that he recently told friends Mr Obama could "kiss my ass" in return for his support.

This was reported by a British pseudo-tabloid paper, the Telegraph. They get sued all the time for misstatements, exaggerations and gaffes.

It's understandable that Bill was dissappointed about Hillary's loss - he had a lot to do with it.

He may have made that "kiss my ass" comment, he may not have. We won't find a single person who will go on the record to confirm it.

It's typical British Journalism to make a big embellished to do about this type of issue.

Good for you... I've never been a big fan of Bill Clinton, and I do think his ego is beyond measure, but this is hearsay written in a British TABLOID. We should all take a deep breath and not let this garbage create more internal bickering. Need I mention that we have enough problems without this silliness... Iran, perhaps?

Focus, people....focus. If we get off track the McC supporters will use every possible atom of misinformation they can find or formulate to help us lose this election.

First, Al Gore. Second, Hillary Clinton. Is Bill trying to ruin a third election?

At least he let Kerry sink all on his own.

I guess it doesn't get lower than this...not once in this article is there a direct quote from Bill Clinton -- just "friends" or "people around him" -- what is this? The Star? Page Six? I am so disappointed in Obama supporters who allow this kind of crap credence. Bill Clinton cares more about this country than he does any thing else. If he is still angry -- hell, I'm still angry -- there has been no "behavior" to indicate as much. And if he is angry it is because he is sore afraid that John McCain can beat Obama but not Hillary. So am I. To put this piece right up front as if it were reporting and not gossip is shocking, but I have come to learn that THP is not a moral place...too bad.

Bill Clinton has been pegged by the msm as a good spot for the news. This should be an interesting general election.

Bill Clinton is a weak sad child stomping his feet while holding his breath, in hopes of getting that piece of candy that his mother denied him three hours ago in a store now 10 miles away. In Retrospect maybe the Primaries wasn't all about Hillary as I stated in past comments. There were many reports that Bill was the entity that kept Hillary from graciously conceding when all was lost. He has been and continue to be a negative element in Hillarys and his own return to grace in the democratic party. Bill has proven his ability to bend over backwards with negativity during the democratic primaries, so it shouldn't be hard for him to kiss his own ass. Truely he is one of the few people left in the party who believes that it merits kissing or that his words carry any wieght with the American people. Bill has cheapened the White House with his dispicable sex acts and his latest escapades has sunken his reputation deeper in the abyss. Old politicians never die, they just fade away into the darkness. Fade away Bill, fade away.

A psychological evaluation of Mr. Clinton reveals that he is Histrionic, narcissistic and has strong feelings of entitlement. He also displays a propensity to behave in a childish manor in an attempt to get his own way. Refer to his "Kiss my tush" comment for proof.

His current behaviour pattern displays that he is in no way interested in the future of America or his own Democratic Party. Otherwise he would unconditionally support Barak Obama putting his own feelings aside for the good of the Nation and party.

The current behaviour of Mr. Clinton is reminiscent of the politics of a run for High School Class President rather than the President of one of the most powerful nations of this planet. US citizens deserve much better than this.

I think Big O should respectfully pass on Bill's offer of support.

Calling Monica Lewinsky, we need a surrogate for Obama, someone willing to publicly kiss the ass of our former stud in the white house.

Is it worth groveling to get this guys endorsement, Gore won the election without him, I think Obama will do much better than Gore so we will not need any intervention from the Bush supporters on the Court.

Have a nice life Bill.

Didn't all of the words that people perceived as being racist actually comeout of Bill and Hillary Clinton's mouths? I know what I heard them say in addition to knowing what I heard when they said it. You don't actually have to be a racist in order to make racist comments or, more to the point, to exploit the issue of race to your advantage.

The Clintons ran a say-anything/do-anything-to-win campaign, up to and including comments used to prey on the fears and prejudices of white Americans who are still stuck in the past.

The bottom line is that Hillary supporters who refuse to acknowledge Obama's primary victory are doing so because they cannot, will not vote for a black man.

Lucy, "you have some splaining to do". Imagine all the people Bill and Hillary made promises to? None of that is going to happen, no wonder he's so angry!

I do disagree. Bill is mad coz now the speaking tour will get shorter and speaking fees smaller and smaller and then he will go away.

That is his legacy.

He's making his own legacy, adding the contempt of history to the laughter over Monica. A great demonstration of the fact that intelligence is not enough. It's about time Hillary divorced this priapic, psychopathic ever-teenage loser. Millions would applaud. Bill should REALLY think about moving his office out of Harlem. He only placed it there after the outcry over his demands for a swanky office in midtown.
