Bill Clinton And Barack Obama To Meet In Next Few Days: Terry McAuliffe

Hillary Clinton's former Campaign Chair Terry McAuliffe is insisting there's no bad blood between Bill Clinton and Barack Obama despite a report that Clinton said Obama can "kiss my ass." McAuliffe told CNN, "This man doesn't stay mad. He can get mad for 24 hours. It's his Irish ancestry." McAuliffe also said the Clinton and Obama would meet in the next few days. Read more below:

Sen. Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton are expected to meet in the next few days, according to the chairman of Sen. Hillary Clinton's unsuccessful presidential bid.

Terry McAuliffe said the former president was angered by media reports suggesting he bore a grudge against Obama after the sometimes bruising primary campaign and did not plan to actively support Obama in the general election.

When did this shift happen in the media? When the Clintons were still fighting on the media was all over them...now that they are out of the race, all of a sudden they are democratic heroes again, everyone should fall at their feet?

First of all, I do not understand Bill's projection issue with racism. He is mad at Obama because statements that HE (Bill) made cast him in a bad light, so he has to blame the person that he was insulting? Man, that's classic.

I felt much better about this country when Bill Clinton was in office. I had no fears that we would be dragged into a useless military action that would drain our resources and diminish our standing in the world. Now, after seeing his performance in the primaries and after, I am VERY glad Bill Clinton will not be in any position of authority in this or any future administration. I don't know if it's because of his heart conditions (remember, Cheney thought invading Iraq was a BAD idea before his multiple bypasses) or just the rigors of the road and being a public figure past reasonable expectations, but he's not the same man.

When Hillary first declared her candidacy, Bill was her strongest assett. From Super Tuesday on, he was her albatross. If he should be angry at anyone, he should look no further than the mirror.
