Hillary Clinton's former Campaign Chair Terry McAuliffe is insisting there's no bad blood between Bill Clinton and Barack Obama despite a report that Clinton said Obama can "kiss my ass." McAuliffe told CNN, "This man doesn't stay mad. He can get mad for 24 hours. It's his Irish ancestry." McAuliffe also said the Clinton and Obama would meet in the next few days. Read more below:

Sen. Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton are expected to meet in the next few days, according to the chairman of Sen. Hillary Clinton's unsuccessful presidential bid.

Terry McAuliffe said the former president was angered by media reports suggesting he bore a grudge against Obama after the sometimes bruising primary campaign and did not plan to actively support Obama in the general election.

Is Hillary totally out of it? I mean can something happen at the convention? Anybody want to help recruit her?

Seriously. Everyone knows the only reason she ran for Senator was so she could be President someday. If Obama wins this year, he'll run again in 2012. By 2016, Hillary will be in her late 60s and will have to compete with Obama's VP for the nomination. This was her best shot at the presidency. That was why she hung on for so long. Without the presidency in her future, there's not much reason for her to stay in the Senate unless it's try and make Obama look bad. I guess she could run for New York governor someday.

The Clintons are history now. They will adjust. Hillary should quit the senate. It was just a stepping stone for her. Now she is just taking up space.

hope he sits this one out. The under the radar distortions of his comments were positively Rovian.
Has anyone actually heard the full exchange rearding his South Carolina remarks? In the presence of a black congressman who totally backs him up, he was asked specifically to draw comparisons to the Jesse Jackson primary. But Obama operatives like Donna Brazile and Jesse Jackson Jr feigned outrage
over his supposedly "racist" remarks. A complicitous punditry and a rabid echo chamber on this site and elswhere gleefully amplified the lie. At least CNN played the entire exchange and exonerated him but it didn't matter. Finding a way to taint the Clintons on race was always the game plan. Taking his comments out of context was a terrible and dishonest tactic. I frankly hope he never gives Obama a"bye" on this one. It was truly disgusting.

Cut and paste?

You are either a pug troll or P.U.M.A.

Either way, you really need to let it go, cause you are going nowhere.

You think BO game is strong? While the Clintions are telling little lies, BO tells the big ones. I guess that's considered bringing it strong. Whatever.

huh? ...if you are going to charge someone with something, it might be a good idea to be a little less vague... otherwise you don't seem very credible.

Yeah his game is strong. Strong enough to understand caucuses, win more states, win more votes, and win the primary election. Your girl and her destructive husband, not so much.

Are the bogus talking points of the Republicans even weaker and more ridiculous and more transparent this time around, or am I just imagining it.

I'll believe McAuliffe over the rag, Telegraph, any day. And my opinion of McAuliffe is not that high to begin with.

McAuliffe's been getting paid to lie for the Clintons for nearly 2 decades. That's his job - to make the Clintons look good despite their bad bahavior.

If that's Terry's job...he should be fired becuse he is not doing a very good job. Bill Clinton can just go straight to hades. He was mad at Kenneth Starr too. This is so typical of these sleazy Clintons. They shoot themselves in the foot and blame everyone when the pain sets in. I think Bubba is so mad because he started this whole thing. Good riddance to him and his gang of crooks.

What happened to the old Bill Clinton we loved?

I cannot wait for that guy to return.

Bill should stay in hiding until he recovers.

The Clntons cannot believe it. The Bilderberg Group chose them, even invited them to their meeting, but the people have decided this election. At least she is pretending to have gotten over it. What's wrong with him?

People who still take a politician's words at face value are hopelessly deluded. That applies to their handlers to.

I believe that Bill Clinton DID invite Sen. Barak Obama to his posterior in exchange for his support, the Clintons have already demanded money to pay off her campaign in exchange. It is over for the Clintons, their behavior is off the charts.

Time will pass and new issues will emerge, but I won't forget this.

Do they realize they lost the election? Other candidates fade after their bid ends, but not these people. I really couldn't care less what the wife, the husband, nor the campaign manager has to say at this point. To me, it looks more like it is all about them, not the presumptive nominee nor the quest for the White House. Arrogant. Typical. Pathetic.

Bull, they can't go away, if they do then the media says they are not being good Democrats.. Bill stayed away and let his wife stand in to endorse and all the media said was that a good friend of Bill said he was bitter and would not help Obama.. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.. The media has become like the Enquirer... they get their info's from reliable sources. I want to know who these reliable sources are.. As for you, people like you have no idea what you are talking about. I wish the media, Obama's campand the Huffington posters would just let the Clinton's go back to their everyday lives without having anything to do with Obama's election.

Terry's "Baghdad Bob" impression during the last weeks of the primary battle pretty much soured me on anything he has to say.

Let's just remember to keep our eyes on the ball here people, and that's Nov. 4.

Exactly, that would hurt him more than Senator Clinton losing the nomination. And he is on the verge of becoming irrelevant.
