I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Joe Lieberman On Face

Lacking any cogent plan to solve America's problems or a platform of coherent policy proposals, the McCain campaign has got only a few stale acts in its repertoire. One is empty headed fear-mongering. That's the role that the GOP's aide-de-camp Joe Lieberman found himself playing on this week's Face The Nation, where he warned that al Qaeda would "test the new President early." What does that mean for Joe Lieberman? That means America needs John McCain, who will be "ready on day one" to continue the Bush administration's policies of appeasement that have allowed al Qaeda to regroup, flourish, and uhm . . . presumably plan this welcome-wagon act that Lieberman is predicting. Anyway, the joke will be on everybody else when George W. Bush crowns himself President-for-Life, thus foiling al-Qaeda's plans forever.

[WATCH.]

LIEBERMAN: We need a president who's ready to be Commander-in-Chief on day one. Senator McCain is - incidentally, Senator Clinton said that over and over again and she was right. She was ready to be president on day one. Why? Because our enemies will test the new president early. Remember that the truck bombing at the World Trade Center happened in the first year of the Clinton administration. 9/11 happened in the first year of the Bush administration. John McCain is ready to take the reins on January 20, 2009. He doesn't need any training.

Shouldn't we be asking Senator Lieberman how it is he is so certain of this attack? Isn't it his duty as a citizen of this country to alert everyone about this if he knows it is going to happen? Someone stand up and ask him what he knows. If ,in fact, he knows anything at all.

They probably haven't worked out the exact details with Blackwater yet, so he isn't certain right now.

Terrorism comes in many forms. Joe Lieberman is showing the nation exactly how a domestic terrorist acts. Why is this man allowed to do such actions? He should be censored and admonished in the senate and reverted to the background going forward. The man is a national disgrace and now he is our own national terrorist.

Lieberman is such an utter tool.

He is a Republican, kick him out of our caucuses, and remove all seniority privileges.

I am a Democrat, but am so tired of being embarassed by the Party Leadership
(Hello Ms. Pelosi, Mr. Hoyer, and Mr. Reid........I mean you)

Or maybe he is with al Queada now since he intimately knows their future plans.
Let's drop kick old Traitor Joe to Guantanamo Bay and hang him froma ceiling,
water boarding him for a break in the fun and find out what he really knows.

Where is the logic of this position?
Al Qaeda attacked us in the first year of Bill Clinton's term,
Al Qaeda attacked us in the first year of George Bush's term,
If the argument is that we will be attacked in the new president's first year, then the attack will come whether Obama, McBush, Ralph Nader or Bob Barr is the president.
If Al Qaeda still has the ability to attack us after all the money we've spent on "Homeland" security and the sacrifices we've made to our Constitutional Rights, then why should we continue with more of McSame?
Time to try someone and something new.

This is disgusting, but be prepared for a lot worse, the Republicans, Lieberman being one, will do and say anything to hang on to power.

Isn't Liebs starting this a little soon? Working with Liebs, I have no doubt that Dubya will issue a red alert on the eve of the election. Strange how we're always in more danger when there's an election. I'm sure it's all a coincidence. Afterall, it's not as if Bushco have lied, uh, other than about the Iraq & Afghan wars, medicare 'reform', the clear skies initiative, budget proposals, tax cuts for the rich, oil companies and hand-outs to corporations, no child left behind, the faith-based initiative, and a few other things. I'm sure Bush & McCain won't lie THIS time though.

Seriously, if you've voting for McCain, you're about as gullible as you can get. I'm realistic about Obama, I know what his limitations (won’t do much to corporate control and some special interests will remain prominent, but he will likely raises taxes on the rich, a plus, and get us out of the war at some point), but we all know what McCain is capable of. He doesn't understand them thar economic issues (wow, someone almost as dumb as Dubya and equally fun to have a beer with no doubt!), is ready to send troops wherever diplomacy hasn't been tried (why try when you got 'instincts'), and will keep us mired in the Mideast to make sure we secure 'our' oil, attack Iran despite the lack of any real credible evidence that they are building nukes, and help out the Israelis despite the danger to American citizens.

The lead article in today's New York Times outlines how badly we screwed up Afghanistan and Pakistan's role in the Al Qaeda chase so if there is an attack, it's laid at Bush's feet and the next President will have to spend some time scraping the **** off his shoes. If it's McCain, he will spend the time looking for more **** to step in.

Yeah we screwed up bad, but it's part of a chain of events. Afghanistan fell apart due to the devastation of the Soviet war and went into civil war. Pakistan sought strategic depth and a gas pipeline and backed what they viewed as the most friendly faction, the Taliban (with Saudi funding). We get hit on 9/11 by religious fanatics, the Taliban seek some sort of evidence before handing over Bin Laden (if they were ever going to), our own administration (also led by religious fanatics) issue ultimatums and immediately go in and then decide to invade Iraq too for reasons having to do with the Project for a New American Century and AIPAC and probably oil interests, and wham we're in the **** of today. And if McCain supports this idiocy and more people vote for him anyway, then we can expect even more 'surprises' including a war with Iran, which will drain our resources, lead to a draft and our replacement by China as the world's sole superpower.

Senator Lieberman is absolutely insane. Just remove his seniority in the Democratic structure and let him be a facist Repub. I am absolutely done paying any attention to what this whacko says. I support Israel too, but this guy is becoming what all Jewish people should despise, a pure facist. Go sell your war mongering on some radio talk show Joe.

Osama bin Laden is not trying to defeat the United States he is not stupid enough to think that he can do that. He wants to re-establish the Caliphate and to do that he must persuade his supporters not to be frightened of us. The attack on 9/11 was not an attack on the United States but an attack in the United States to demonstrate to his followers that we could be attacked. While I have no doubt they will be happy to attack us again so we must not let our guard down George W. Bush by invading Iraq with insufficient troops and without the faintest idea what to do when we got there has demonstrated that we are not as strong as other people might have thought. Remember, we are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here, how many might have been killed if we let our guard down again, I don't know but I bet it's a lot less than 4000. Nevertheless, there are those that have to push the idea that George W. Bush and his mates are the only ones who can keep us safe.

Just remember, a majority of Jews will vote for Obama despite stupid comments.

But keep it up, all you smug, self-righteous do-gooders out there, and with comments like this one you just might aliante some of your strongest, most natural allies -- like myself.

I see that LIEberman's Republican training is going well -- he's get an A+ in fearmongering.

If we were to be attacked, I would want someone in office who is intelligent, cool-headed and has good judgement, President Obama.

Auditions for the Axis of Evil vacancy: Contact Joe Lieberman for audition time, place and target.

He is inviting attacks, this borders on taunting our enemies.

Surely, there is some type of sanctioning for a Congressman to cheer on an attack.

The press is giving this grief to Weley Clark, while "Lie-berman" get's to walk away from the " US will be attacked" quotes. Well Joe if the US gets attacked it just goes to show you that 400 + Billion wasted on Iraq didn't help much in the "War on Terror".

It still would be Bushes 'fault because he dropped the ball and never went after and caought the Rat Osama Bin Laden.

"Lie-berman" turn in your Democrat badge, traitor.
