Senator Recounts McCain's Tussle With A Sandinista Rebel

Notably mild-mannered Republican Sen. Thad Cochran shocked many earlier this year with comments about John McCain's volatile temper. He has since mended fences with the GOP presidential nominee.

But as first reported at sunherald.com today, Cochran told the Sun Herald that he witnessed a confrontation between McCain and a Sandinista rebel decades ago where McCain "got mad at the guy and he just reached over there and snatched him."

You do not have to be a psychiatrist to realize that McCain is a troubled bitter hostile angry man. Probably the result of 5 years as a prisoner of war. This does not make him a bad person, just a little demented and definitely unqualified for commander in chief.

There are countless stories of M*Cain's volatile temper and his inability to govern it. He has nearly come to fisticuffs with numerous Senators, is famous for his obscene outbursts against in public. He's far too irrational and unstable to be Commander in Chief.

This is my biggest concern with McCain. The thought of a President McCain scares me. I think his obsession with Iraq (and war in general) is more about retribution than protecting America. I really don't feel good about a former POW of 5 years, with a serious temper problem in charge of decisions that Bush has already seriously blundered. Especially one who seems to feel he has a score to settle, and who will NEVER surrender, even though he's no longer the one who's fighting. For him, the presidency is the power to get others to fight his demons.

Oh, so McCain was part of the people on the ground for the Iran/Contra thing? Ah, should have known. A good little republican just working his way up the ladder by doing the mandatory field work. Once you are a documented part of a treasonous crime you can be trusted by their top people to follow orders.
