There have been reports of Obama's difficulty winning over Hispanic voters, but the latest Gallup polls suggest they're a little exaggerated:

Hispanic registered voters' support for Barack Obama for president remained consistent and strong in June, with Obama leading John McCain by 59% to 29% among this group.

While Hispanics generally preferred Hillary Clinton to Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination, a solid majority of Hispanics have consistently backed Obama against McCain in general-election trial heats. Obama has led McCain by about a 2-to-1 margin since Gallup began tracking general-election voting preferences in early March.

I have it on good authority that there is one minority that is definitely anti-Obama: Big Oil CEOs and hedge fund managers. How will he ever win if he can't appeal to everyone?

Hardly...Obama is not going to throw the oil execs under the bus...if he does, he will never be President, you can count on it.

Actually, the majority of investment bankers are funding the Obama campaign. The recent David Brooks article in NYT touched on this.

Wolf Blitzer
Tucker Fartelsen
Joe Scarborough
David Gregory - he's a lying thug pretending not to be!
Lou Dobbs
Pat Buchannan
all have one thing in common, they're liars and have no thought beyond what the corporation they work for tells them to say. What sleazy mouthpieces they are. They're complicit in this war along with The NY Times and Wash Post. ALL MSM SUCKS and now everyone knows it. Thing is, they all get together and laugh at us. Wag the Dog. See below:

I don't know if he's a liar, but he's a big McCain booster and buys into and broadcasts every negative talking point about Obama. Even in his interviews, he lets the Republicans ramble on and spiel off every lie and smear about Obama that they want, while he constantly interrupts and rebuts all the Democrats with but but but, McCain said so and so. I can't bear to watch it anymore.

Gregory is just a puppet of sensationalist media. I haven't heard an original thought or analysis come out of his mouth. It's refreshing when someone sits in for him on "Race for the White House"

It just proves to me how fascist the media is and how easily control the American people are. obama won 60% of the Hispanic vote on his way to becoming the US Senator. We are such a stupid group of people we believe everything the media said and we can't figure out that WE CANNOT TRUST the media. Dont believe everything you here in the media in fact I'd verify 90% of it to make sure.

Breaking news: Obama having trouble with supporters who are black, white, yellow, brown and orange, as well as women, gays, men and animals. CNN and FOX to do news "analysis" on how Obama can possibly fix this problem between now and November.

More Breaking News: A recent poll now shows Obama trailing McCain among likely voters above age 65 who are left-handed multi-millionaires who own at least 3 homes in the state of W.Virginia. ABC news attributes this problem to his lack of a lapel pin.

"Obama has a problem with gay Norwegian Jews from Australia who are half Columbian, more at 11, WATCH OUR COMMERCIALS"

CHRIS MATTHEWS still believe in the BRADLEY EFFECT even though Obama has constistently out performed the poll averages. The one poll that some of those intellectual fools point to is New Hampshire but it was well known that most polls where done well before Primary day. The only one that was done after Hillary's emotional display was Suffolk and I think they had Obama up by +1 or Hillary by +1.

The polls are as they are and the notion that someone would say they are voting for someone else but say they are for Obama is absurd! It implies that all those not voting for him are racist. But leave it to Chris to keep talking about those people who won't vote for him in PA or how he doesn't trust the polls.

Why the hell did 81,000 show up to see O bama in Portland, Oregon where I live? We have over 45,000 volunteers in Oregon, less than 1% of our population is black!
Yha'll, MSM wants to keep this country just the way it is. And the Repugnicans expect everyone to believe, McSame will be different than B ush.
But, then I think, the corporations that run this country, even they're losing money at this point, so you'd think they'd act in their own best interests, they usually do.
But of course I know that, who really runs this country is the Military, yup, they want WW3 for sure. War is supposedly good business, or it is if your Haliburton.

Post of the week. I stoped watching Hardball for this reason alone. Obama has consistantly outperformed polls during the primary yet the idiot Matthews keeps on sighting the Bradley affect. This line of thinking does no good to America because it insuiates white people are racist. Gosh is Russert missed.

I catch Keith Online but I am done with MSM.

I'm sick of Matthew too. He is great for fueling the flames and making false insinuations. He was a real Hillary lapdog and now McCain is his man. Right from the beginning, when Obama first announced his run, it was very interesting how ALL the pundits didn't think he stood a chance in hell. Remember that? Of course the entire medial just knew that Hillary was "the frontrunner" and Scarborough is almost worse. Every morning while not admitting Obama was doing well (either leading or tied), his question to to likes of people like Pat Buchana was ALWAYS "Why can't Obama seem to be able to close the deal?" I LMAO when Obama got the nomination and enjoyed watching Joe squirm and try not to look too pissed. Great moment.

Jury is still out on Hispanic (registered and unregistered) voters supports for McCain or Obama.

It is hard to trust polls taken in June to predict what will happen in Novembers. Most of the polls are very unreliable at this time.

"Fast Eddie" Obama is still big myth for Hispanic voters in California, New Jersey, Texas and Florida.

I think this just goes to show that the polls are leaving out the entire western states. Sure, maybe latinos in Florida for instance don't back Obama, but let's be clear... poll the western states if you want to get a broad analysis. It's just ridiculous that the pollsters only concentrate on the eastern seaboard and appalachia south. I hope the western states and the hispanics finally beat the pants on the Republican eastern half of the states this election.

Remember also that the largest population of Latino voters in Florida are Cuban nationalists, most of whom are Republicans and almost all of whom have a political agenda in regard to their homeland.

Not only have I never believed that Senator Obama had a "problem" with Latinos, but I also do not accept that there is tension between the black and Latino communities, and I say this as a black person who has had a relationship with the Latino community for many years. The media has also exaggerated the animosity between blacks and gays. Sadly however, many of us buy into these media myths and then create the reality in our relationships with others that the media has dictated to us.

Hillary was the main source of negative information about Senator O.
I don't know how we are going to debunk the junk she put out there about him.

I would think that "Hillary" should do that debunking! But, as we see she & Bill are somewhat laissez'faire in their "full-throated" debunkin' ... Hill and Bill both left a trail of mess ... thing is we all know who's mess it is ... 'cause it has their names written all over it!!

O just keeps stepping over it all though ... he's just great all by himself!!

Exactly. This myth, along with many others, was rolled out by the Clinton campaign and dutifully taken up by the media as part of an "I'm more electable" desperation strategy, which soon became a "He's unelectable" strategy, once the pledged delegate outcome became clear.

He's a big guy (I was about to say big boy but realized that would be problematic) and he is a smart one. He is running a good race and he will try to get past the toothmarks Hillary left in his butt. Patti Solis Doyle is a good pick. There are others. Bill Richardson will be very important in the campaign. I am sure that the Republican brand has soured Latinos on McCain and his group.

Most of Obama's "problems" are myths. They are hyped by media that, in the interest of being "fair and balanced," have to dig up as many Obama problems as McCain problems.

This is something I have known all along. Hillary only won a greater percentage of the Latino vote due to the history Latinos have had with Bill Clinton. When the chips are down, the majority of Latinos will vote for Obama. The only advantage McCain had was his previous support of comprehensive immigration reform. He GAVE that advantage away when he reversed his position in order to gain the support of conservatives. Actually reading what is being said about McCain's backstabbing reversal in the Spanish-language media is an excellent way to understand where the Latino vote is headed. It's all over the place and is talked about all the time where I live. Also, Latinos are NOT a one issue voting bloc! We actually CARE about the country and the direction in which it is headed on a number of issues. We also have a long history of military service in the US and hearing that we will be in Iraq for 100 years is not a pleasant thing. My family has had someone in the US military for the last 70 years and I have had 2 cousins serve in Iraq, with one still there. I will be out in the street grabbing Latinos by the lapel, telling them that if you love your country, vote Obama!

I've come to the conclusion that everything negative about Obama is a myth. They keep making stuff up like that will make him disappear. They need to do a segment on all of the Obama myths in the next DFT News on Digitalfuntown.com. That'll be hilarious if they do it.
