Teenager Bounces Baby Off Pillow, Is Arrested (VIDEO)

A Georgia 16-year old, the star of a hard-to-watch YouTube video in which he catapults an 8-month-old baby off of a pillow, has been arrested for cruelty to children. The boy was apprehended after one of his school teachers saw the video and informed police. The child, who was in the care of the boy's family at the time, was taken to the doctor by its parents and there is no word yet if there were serious injuries.

Nobody thinks a baby that young can remember the abuse, But it has now been proven that the body, at the very least remembers.

That teenager is a psycho killer waiting to happen. I hope he ( and his friend ) are watched carefully in the future. Words fail.

There's no explaining away or justifying this kid's behaviour. Immature brain or not, I'd have never done ANYTHING remotely like this at the age of 16 and I was as abused a child as you could find without having been bodily used as an ashtray or clubbed by a 2by4.

I am no Old Testament adherent - I firmly believe that an eye for an eye leaves us all blind - but if given the chance and the choice, I would gladly and fully show this kid what pain feels like if I could have 10 minutes alone, just he and I in a room together, so I could show him, first hand, how it feels to be a helpless victim of violence.

Like someone else said, throw the kid in general population and throw that 18 year old taping this in there as well. I mean yes, teenagers have done some stupid things and we have all been there, but this? Come on now, how can you explain this action away from a chemical imbalance? I mean yes, but something like this? I can udnerstand taking your parents car for a joy ride when you are 14, pulling some prank or what have you. You know what would teach these idiots not to do something this stupid again? A good ole fashioned ass-whooping. Just like those kids who put up a video of them beating down other kids, they should have a video of them getting beat down on the internet as well.

And those claiming republicans are the reason for stuff like this, I hope it's a joke because if not, it shows your intelligence. And if you say you represent Democrats, you sure give Dems a bad name.

If the baby died, the most he is guilty of is involuntary manslaughter. But since it's a first offense, the sentence would not be the max.

If the baby is found to be injured, the charge would be less. Again, it was not intentional, but just a stupid mistake - a dumb thing that went awry. Such things happen all the time. The law has provisions for every situation.

If the baby was not harmed at all, the guy should be given a scolding and a few hours of community service.

Now if he did it again, that would be another story....

Where were the people caring for the child and why wasn't the guy filming this tragedy arrested as well? The babysitters should be charged for neglect. I have a feeling this is not over.

This kid is going to be a scary adult. Although the 16 year old has been arrested, I hear that the 18 year old who was behind the camera was not. I believe that kid should also be arrested - he's just a guilty.
