Bloomberg :

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said she's ``proud'' of the U.S. decision to wage the Iraq war and insisted that the world is not more dangerous than it was when George W. Bush took office.

``We're now beginning to see that perhaps it's not so popular to be a suicide bomber. We're beginning to see that perhaps people are questioning whether Osama Bin Laden ought to really be the face of Islam,'' Rice, 53, said in an interview to be broadcast this weekend on Bloomberg Television's ``Conversations with Judy Woodruff.''

When one country liberates another country, tens of thousands of people will gather and celebrate their new found freedom, like Kosovo welcomed Bill Clinton a few years back.

When Cheney, Bush, and Rice are able to drive downtown Baghdad in a convertible with hundreds of thousands of people lining the streets, cheering them, the liberation will become official.

Of course that is never going to happen, instead the overwhelming majority of Iraqi's hate our guts.

We are a nation that has come to honor intelligence without wisdom
Body without soul
Religion without spirituality
Law without compassion
Wealth without honesty
Success without ethics
Self without community
Freedom without responsibility

Condi Rice is a child of our obsessions; very intelligent but completely hollow and bloodless.

Impressively structured sentiment.

Now, what are you going to DO about it?

Just like a jazzman -- poignant and stirring, yet smooth and brooding.

Thank you.

If she isn't tried for war crimes, she'll likely be back, and potentially haled as a right-wing black-woman candidate for President. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Condoleezza Rice is a thin scholar and got where she is today more because of playing the system rather than on the strength of her CV. What is funny is she hired one of her former students, Jendayi E. Frazer, to head the State Dept Africa file. Jendayi Frazer is great deal worse in all manners of competence than Condi Rice. Today in the Horn of Africa, Jendayi Frazer and Condi Rice are hated more the GWB. My hope is that these women’s political careers will end with the end of GWB admin but as far as the Horn of Africa is concerned , they will continue to act as lobbyists for warlords and dictators as other well known political figures of both parties have in the past. I feel this way because already number of well known former democratic lawmakers and not just GOP members who are working on behalf of ruthless dictators such as Ethiopia’s Meles Zinawi even as the Horn of Africa is nearing a total collapse caused by wars and famine.

Thanks for the information SaraJan. I will avail myself of the information provided. I knew Condoleezza Rice was crooked and wrong from my gut and now you provide evidence in writing. There are so many marginalized dignitaries where does one begin their education when the system is full of them. I sincerely appreciate and respect your act of sharing. This is what we owe to one another. We should try to build each other up. Undue competition due to ambition is part of the hypocrisy that is killing the democracy. Those who truly know have a duty to educate where possible. As one who receives a lot of education on this and other sites, I am made better by such decent and thoughtful approaches to humanity.

How can you be "proud" of a war. A responsible politician can be forced to start a war but proud?

THANK YOU OBAMA FOR VOTING FOR RICE!!!!
NICE MOVE... NOT.

Miss (Mrs.?) Rice did your parents or grand-parents ever told you about "The Histroy of JIM-CROW" ? This is just a reminder of history which I'll pray you never should forget. Now talking about you feeling "PROUD" ;

1. Do you are "PROUD" that through your deed you've sent over (one)-1-million Iraqis to their death?

1. Do you feel "PROUD" to have lied and forged documents to werge a War which should NEVER should have been fought even under your false pretence Saddam Hussein has WMDs?

2. Do you feel "PROUD" for causing thousands of Iraqis to misery, hardship, tears and abject poverty?

Finally, Miss (Mrs.?) Rice........do you have (a) child(ren) of your own that could prompt you probably in a second of your thoughts, wonder about those children of YOUR War who've been deprived of their livehood, parents, and dear love ones?

Pray for the spirits of all those who though your "PRIDE" lost their souls, for forgiveness!

Perhaps Condi should abandon all future plans to vacation outside of the United States.
Paraguay may be the only safe place for her to retreat to.

Naturally, Rice has to say that or she would have to assume responsibility for thousands of needless deaths and mutilations. Its called denial. She and her partners in crime are very adept at using the
Freudian defense mechanism. The US and the world should not let them get away with it.

Rice will be sitting in some nursing home 30 years from now and will apologize for the dismantling of Iraq and the murders of at least 500,000 Iraqi's and 4 million refugees. Ala, Robert McNamara, another American war criminal, a wealthy man, who should have sat rotting in a prison all these years. Instead, the Vietnamese people get an apology 30 years after the fact.

Rice is in the same position as McNamara.

The more the people disagree with their policies, the more they like thier actions.

It is HIGH-TIME to do what is right and IMPEACH this whole EVIL-DOOER USA government.

Are we surprised? No way. This is consistent with all of the ludicrous BS that has passed through the mouths of this criminal administration's mouthpieces over the loooong last eight years. God help this country if we ever have to go through what they have put us all through, especially the honorable troops overseas - they deserve a commander-in-chief worthy of their sacrifices.
