There's a new game that can be played in DC, and it's called "Where In The World Is Alberto Gonzales." On Wednesday he published an op-ed in The LA Times on the very subject he managed to malign more than support: equality. The Washington Post's, Al Kamen, looks into other activities Gonzales - aka Fredo - has taken part in since he left the Justice Department almost a year ago.

First he popped up at Friday night's baseball game between the Nats and the O's. Next thing you know, he's in the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday as an op-ed columnist.

So, is this the beginning of an Alberto R. Gonzales re-emergence in public, 10 months after he resigned from a somewhat-less-than-successful 2 1/2 -year tenure as attorney general? Is there a job announcement coming?

Because we hope President Obama prosecutes him for at least perjury and he is sent to a Super Max Federal Prison. He was the AG for crying out loud!

I think he was hired by Newsweek and the NY Times to do a column on how important the constitution and proper administering of laws is to all Americans and our treasured country, especially on this July 4 2008 holiday..

Wherever he is it isn't where he rightfully belongs (Federal Prison).

Exactly. This is exactly how I would have said it. We need to give this clown a chance to drop the soap in the shower.

I have it on good authority that he's working as a busboy in a Tex-Mex restaurant in Baja California.

Unless you have news that he was deported as an illegal alien I could care less of his whereabouts.

That scumbag Gonzales is a poster boy for THE MOST enept, incompetant, law breaking administration in history. Now if the Democrats would get off their butts and give America some justice . . . that whole administration would be on "Most Wanted" posters for high crimes. What total cowards our lawmakers are. Maybe when we vote in a New Senate and Congress they will have
the cojones to go after Bush's bunch of crooks.

It's a real conundrum. Our choice is to vote for "Dumb and Dumber." Is there a way for a third party to influence on the political scene? The way it looks now, is that the system is rigged, with two big "Company's." that fight over the goodies at each election.

Once again, this administration proves that corruption is it's own reward. Great going, Republicans!

It is not "Where has he been?", it is "What has he been doing?". My guess is that you simply need to look for the carcasses of tortured animals and you will find the man.

We were Told, Bush had put him cutting brush down on the ranch, while Bush continues to break any and all of the laws of this nation. Their having problems with him at the Ranch though, he keeps chasing chickens in the late afternoon's and this is upsetting the neighbors. He's also set up a small farmer's market just outside the gate, along the state highway, failed to get a permit, but hell they make up the laws as they go along.

Maybe he has a "tell all book" in the works!!

God knows he could tell us some interesting FACTS about the corruption in the Bush administration. I don't think he has the cajones to tell the truth though. He will take it to his grave. He is a national disgrace along with the rest of the Bush clan

I don't see a "tell all book" because he's so involved in this stuff that he would have to implicate himself. Nobody would be that stupid. Wait a minute...

Chapter 1: What I recall
Chapter 2: Meetings I was present for
Chapter 3: Ongoing investigations I can comment on.
Chapter 4: People I fired for performance reasons, not for politcal affiliation
Chapter 5: People I hired for being very qualified, not for political affiliation
Chapter 6: People I executed who were both competent and guilty.

hmmm... I'm up to 6 blank pages...
