Rice Has No Problem Playing Golf During War
In an interview with the Golf Channel on Saturday, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said, "Ive been playing and playing a lot" in the past few years. In another interview, she said "my summer goal, is to get just a little bit better at chipping so that I can have a little shorter putt."
President Bush recently said that he gave up golf during the war in Iraq: "I feel I owe it to the families to be as -- to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal." But, as it turns out, he didn't actually stop playing when he claims he did.
