John McCain's newest ad is called, "Love," which he hates, apparently. See, way back in the day, a bunch of hippies dropped acid and made out, while a world away John McCain was crashing planes and getting incarcerated in Vietnam, developing the sort of experience that would make him the greatest President ever. He became a reformer, a "maverick." He took on his own party and his own partisans.

Yeah. And then he lost the nomination to a rich, coddled, cheerleader from Yale. So it's no wonder that McCain is against the "hope" and the "beautiful words" that his opponent espouses. He hasn't been able to get within spitting distance of the nomination without turning his back on everything he once represented. Of course, all those hippies from the "Summer of Love" did the same thing, so why he'd want to antagonize them is anybody's guess.

He is such a hypocrit. I thought he didn't like to dwell on the fact that he was a POW which seems to be his oly claim to fame left. He can no longer say that he is a maverick because he seems to going along to get along. He definitely would a third Bush term

That's actually a moderately effective message. It hits all the right points to appeal to the "average heartland conservative".

Folks, we can't lay down and just expect to win this. Over 40% of the American electorate would vote for Hitler's corpse before they would elect a Democrat, even if he weren't a black man. We have to wok hard, quit denigrating our opponents*, and show some respect along with the anger.

America has went downhill so much in the last 20 years, and WE ALL HELPED! It's up to us to help bring it back, not just the person that we elect. We can do this, but we have to WORK at it. I'm going to volunteer to drive people to get registered and to vote. I'm going to give more than I can afford to Senator Obama's campaign. I'm going to talk to people who think that they'd never vote for Senator Obama and hope to convince them otherwise. What are YOU going to do? What are WE going to do?

Complaining the day after the election about the stupidity of the American electorate will do nothing, and it'll be too late. Claiming that Diebold is just going to give the election to the Republicans will only make you look paranoid and stupid. DO SOMETHING.

*Rethugs, Repugs, etc. are terms that just make us sound mean spirited. This election is about a positive change, so please give the negativity a rest.

I think this one may backfire at most, misfire at least.
