We are a Fascist government seriously. Its very frightening to me and I have no faith that it will end November 4th. I think they are going to do something with this election so that either McCain wins or they may cancel the elections altogether and Bush remains in power. If you dont think this can happen well you are leaving in the OLD America that was a Democracy. Thats why I'm booking my flight for November 5th to Canada.

These Right Wing Fanatics always come up with a catchy misleading names for their organization, like Vets For Freedom, who could be against Freedom.

But in truth the people behind this seemingly innocuous name are warmongering republicans.

They also believe in motherhood and apple pie. That is their basic intellectual depth which seems to work on the general public. Ask Rove.

Hegseth needs to go back to his national guard unit and tell them he wants to back to Iraq seeing how he supports this bullshit war in Iraq. Iraq has said time to go, so its time to go. Vets for freedom say nothing about Afghanistan or those who attacked us on 9-11. This guy gives vets a bad name I have no respect for him, he nothing but a talking head in uniform for Bush/McCain and the rest of the chickenhawks who are to much a coward to serve and fight.

Few points worthy of additional stress. First, the guy for vets for Freedom represents the position of big oil that the best chance for oil to push its will on the Iraqis but it can so only if American troops stay. In that case, let the big oil take over the US military in Iraq, pay these poor sods good salaries and declare the US mission over.
Second, the US will not win the war on terror with military force. Not in Iraq and not in Afghanistan. The best way to defeat extremism is to deal with root causes of Muslim extremism directed at the United. Muslim extremism is the effect of very blind and stupid US foreign policie towards the Muslim world that include US support of dictators, warlords, oil Kheikhs and Israeli occupation of the Palestinians. Sam Nunn is now declaring new holy war on Pakistan and this too will end in utter failure. When will the US learn from history? When will the Americans learn to change policies which are not working and deal with political issues politically rather than through military intervention? I feel very discouraged because Obama surrounded himself with the same old cast of characters who have created the current political crisis for the US. Chris Matthew did great job in this clip!

As soon as we get all the neocons away from any vestige of power and policy making. The whole basis of neocon thought is expansion of US influence through military force. They used to call that Imperialism back in the day, but no matter what you calll it, it's still untenable. In all of world history, which Empires are still around? The Romans, the British, Soviet Russia, Japan, the Mongols, the Persians, the Assyrians, the French, the Dutch, the Spanish, and on and on and on, all Empires that eventually failed.

Chalmers Johnson's The Sorrows of Empire explains the results of empire building and it's eventual end..Problem is the perpetrators will have cashed in and moved on.

Okay, the whole "Change We Can Believe In" is a McCain line. This ist a campaign add for John McCain...

Sorry Vets for Freedom, but your name suggests you're for freedom. And I agree. Let the Iraqi people go, set them free...

People need to mark these last few days. This is the start of the end of the war in Iraq and this is the turning point to McBush's defeat to 0bama. The war is over when the Iraqis want us to leave, Boosh said it McBush said it the war is going to end, my friends as McBush would say. McBush has said that his candidacy will be predicated on his ability to sell the American people that we need to stay in Iraq indefinitely and they want us out so McBush's services are no longer required. If the media does it's job the Iraq War and McBush campaign should be over today.

So the Iraqi prime minister said it but he really didn't mean it when he said it on world wide TV.

Every time George opens his mouth, the world instantly reacts against him.

These so-called Vets for Freedom don't seem to remember that our troops are there at the "invitation" of the Iraqi people. They requested our help. Now they don't need us any more. This is not the first time that Malaki has asked for a timetable. This guy is acting as if Chris asked him what is the meaning of is.

They invited our troops to invade thier nation and kill hundreds of thousands of thier people?

They requested our help? Who is they? WTF are you talking about???

Requested our help? I also, must have missed that one. However, I think maybe that was just a bad choice of words but the right sentiment. Agree with the meaning of "is" comment though..........Chris should have asked him if he had just "inhaled" before the programme started.
Nice to see Chris getting ratty with him though.
