McCain Cracks Another Joke About Killing Iranians (VIDEO)

The Washington Post reports:

Sen. John McCain hasn't had good luck joking about Iran. But he tried it again Tuesday.

Responding to a question about a survey that shows increased exports to
Iran, mainly from cigarettes, McCain said, "Maybe thats a way of killing them."

He quickly caught himself, saying "I meant that as a joke" as his wife, Cindy, poked him in the back.

Last time, it was also Iran. His singing about bombing Iran to the theme of the Beach Boy' "Barbara Ann" drew derision from many quarters but a "lighten up" response from McCain

If being captured and tortured for5+ years makes McCain qualified for the presidency, the there are more than 250 current and former "residents" of Gitmo who are equally qualified for the Afgan presidency.

I don't think the fact that he's d e a d should disqualify him either.

Although I agree that being a POW isn't qualification for being president, I would categorize "tortured for 5+ years" along with "sat in that church for 20 years" as being hyperbole.

I doubt McC was tortured for the whole five years (to what end?) just as I doubt O sat in "that church" every Sunday for 20 years.

Conservatives are stuck on stupid on Iran. Demonizing that whole country and all it's citizens has been a potent political tool on the Right since Reagan, and they're incapable of changing course.

Yeah, it is just so darn funny, the one's saying it is no big deal, by itself you are right it's no big deal, but when you ad every other statement by the old geezer concerning Iran it's not so funny. The guy hates Iran and I actually think he hates all Arabs and would prefer to kill all of them and would if they didn't have his precious oil. The guy is a nut case, statements like this just reinforce the notion that he is George W. Bush the second. If you'll notice Bush makes off the cuff remarks like this all the time and see where we are right now. Iraq, and Afganistan, and if we had the military strength we would be in Iran as well.

Someone needs to ask Mccain WHY he wants to kill Iranians. I have no interest in killing them and would like to know why a man who is running for POTUS WANTS to kill these people.

You're right! The only time they talk about Obama, it's always in the negative. They're in love with McCain. They have not at all covered the two candidates equally and certainly not accurately.
