Top Clinton Adviser Howard Wolfson Joining Fox News

Howard Wolfson, one of the members of Hillary Rodham Clinton's innermost circle and perhaps the most visible member of the New York senator's television surrogates, is joining Fox News Channel as a Democratic analyst.

Wolfson confirmed the move this evening via email. In addition to his part time commentary duties on FNC, Wolfson will remain a partner at the Glover Park Group -- a major consulting firm in Washington, D.C.

"Fox has the largest audience in cable television -- many of its viewers are independents who will help decide the next election," said Wolfson of his decision. "It's critically important for strong progressives to be talking to and offering analysis to that audience."

Wolfson should feel right at home in that cultural cesspool. What a deplorable organization. He, like others of his ilk (read: Lanny Davis, Ickes), represent the worst of the political realm, with their shameless antics and partisan bickering.

That said, to associate someone like Joe Scarborough or Pat Buchanan, as many of you have done, with these degenerates is unfortunate. Are the MSNBC conservatives misguided and, at times, foolish? Yes. But they're entertaining and principled to boot. Their perspectives can, at times, be refreshing.

Once upon a time, Mika was the only reason I could endure "Morning Joe" even for a short while. However, as time has passed, Scarborough's mental affliction seems to have spread to Mika. With every nod of her head in agreement with Joe and Pat, with her every venture into tabloid "news," Mika becomes more irrelevant to me. I have finally settled on BBC as my network of choice for television news; it's the only network that offers genuine news instead of biased pundit perspectives.
