Alex Rodriguez Said To Have Been "In Love" With Madonna

Just met? Hardly. New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez was smitten with Madonna six months ago when he was exchanging text messages with her while dining with a friend in Miami.

"He kept smiling, acting as if he was a little kid," the dinner companion tells Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now.

"He told me it was Madonna," A-Rod's friend says. "I was shocked."

The highest-paid player in baseball then "proceeded to say he was in love with her," the pal tells Us. "I thought he was kidding, but he wasn't."

By February, the 32-year-old slugger had upped the ante. "He said, 'She's my f--king soulmate, dude,'" the friend tells Us.

His wife is only out for the money. She must be having an affair with the friend disclosing the informatio­n. Is that baby really A-rod's? Anyway Lenny doesn't want her, she makes him want to throw up guess she needs to look elsewhere for money.

Madonna is obviously very afraid of aging, ref all her training and compulsive exercising­, so she must be thrilled to be serviced by A-Rod who is soooo infatuated by her.

I'm sure her soon to be ex-husband will be thrilled to be rid of her. Makes you wonder - if they're so rich, why aren't they smart?

Dude-she took me to this fortune teller and the fortune lady said that we were lovers in a former life-she was Cleopatra and I was King Tut-it was freaky but I liked it. She is really smart-not like the strippers I always bang-she says if we work together maybe I can be in movies or music videos or something-­she says I can do anything I want-I am thinking maybe I am tired of this baseball thing-Mado­nna says she doesn't think it is good for me and it goes against kabalooksk­i rules.
