Marc Ambinder:

Hillary Clinton has reconstituted her political action committee -- another sign that she plans to remain a political force for years to come.

Clinton has asked Capricia Marshall, a long-time Clinton friend and former White House social secretary, to be HillPAC's executive director. In that role, Marshall will coordinate Clinton's extracurricular political activities, including her fundraising for other candidates and non-Senate-business political travel.

In its time, HillPAC was one of the most active PACs on the planet; it went dormant during Clinton's primary campaign and today, its website features a only an e-mail sign-up and a contribution solicitation. When Clinton closes out her campaign account, several staffers and advisers will transfer over to the HillPAC operation. They won't have to move: part of the campaign's Arlington headquarters will become HillPAC central.

Barack and Hillary are on the same team. We need them both as we move forward. They've made history - and will continue to do so. They're going to be working closely together for many years. For the common good.

Yes, and she's got her pack dogs back out attacking Obama and trying to help McCain. That Republican female attorney from New Jersey, one of the 9/11 widows, apparently on Clinton's payroll, has written a new article suggesting that Hillary may still go to the convention and steal the nomination, or at least make a big stink and again try to throw the election to McCain. That's because Hillary is demanding that the public give her $25 million that she pissed away in the last months of her campaign on her racist attacks on Obama -- or else.

She won't get a penny from me. If she wants to go to Denver, go to Denver, but she won't get my money. Besides, Bill collected $110 million just being a bag man in the last few years driving around to different corporations picking up hundreds of thousands of dollars for really nothing at all. I don't think the Clintons have money problems. It's just greed. Pay your own bills, Hillary.

Your uninformed post is filled with so many lies I don't know where to start.

How bout this:

She doesn't want your stinkin' money - her debt will be paid off in the next few weeks - she has no affiliation with any "attack dogs" as you put it - she has nothing to do with the fact that her supporters are standing up to this sham of a primary - yes, they will be going to denver - yes, many are voting for mccain - yes, if O's poll numbers slip below mc canes the supers may wake up and realize they're about to lose the election and make her the nominee.

oh, and no, there's nothing you can do about it.

I'm so glad to hear she doesn't want our 'stinkin' money'. Why then why is she twisting Obama's arms to ask us for it?

Ever wonder if perhaps your, how can I put this politely, 'strong' rhetoric might be helping Obama supporters to discount Hillary? You should.

Obama is, and will be, our Democratic nomieee. And there is nothing you can do about it!

Clinton is still playing the game, as she proved with her calculated flip cloture vote and FISA vote. Her votes were cast to create the perception of doing the right thing, only when the right thing would not pose a risk to the final outcome of passage of the FISA bill. One can only wait to see what she is really up to.

Absolutely! She would have voted for it if Obama had opposed it. What was that crucial vote she missed while she was in D.C. because she was too busy giving TV interviews?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 07:52 PM on 07/09/2008

Oh get real. She co-sponsored the D odd amendment to get rid of immunity. O DID NOT. She skipped the first vote because she knew this one would count.

O could have voted NO, it would have passed anyway. He didn't. Ask yourself why. Why would he poke his supporters in the eye when it would have passed anyway? Because he's been bought.

Stop obsessing over HRC and focus on the problem you've created.

Dear Hillary

Congatulation to you for having the courage to vote against FISA.

Unfortunately I supported Obama during the primary because I believed him to be a man of his word; but tragically he has betrayed the American people by supporting the coverup of Bush's crimes.

Apparently telecom profits, political expediency and covering for Bush are more important to Obama than the American people.

Take your case to the credentials committee. You may yet be the nominee. Not stabbing the American people in the back goes a long way for me.

See, we aren't crazed hysterical women, we trusted our gut, and hillary is for the people of this country in ways no other politicitian is....that is why we love her, come on in, the water gets choppy, but, Hillary never falters, we really do have a voice on the hill now.....and I agree, the credentials commitee needs to do its job regarding all those caucuses that were screwed up, sort out how many delegates candidates actually have, and let's take it to the floor. I imagine lots of delegates would love to vote for her, after the last few months, and now this last few weeks, my head spins just trying to figure out where O's positions are....with Hillary she stands strong on our rights and never wavers. She sees us, she hears us, she speaks for us. It's why so many stand with her.

Davis and Wolfson joined Fox, Penn is teaming up with a Bush cronie, so I am expecting Hillary to move over to the dark side soon. Hope you will join her there and continue to fight the battles with Hillary, such as a woman's right to choose, and see how far you get. Good luck with your journey.

Senator Hillary Clinton, I'm so glad to see you back in the game. I know the only reason you are not the Democratic candidate is because Obama's PAC bought more superdelegates than yours did in 2004. When Claire McCaskill sold out and then blamed her switch on her 18 year old daughter, Maybe the superdelegates will realize they were used by Obama and do their duty at the Convention.
His supporters threatened to "riot in the streets" if he was not the nominee and superdelegates are spineless wimps.

"WASHINGTON -- When Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill endorsed Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, she said she'd found a candidate who "gives us a reason to believe again."
Obama believed in her, too, donating $10,000 from his political action committee to her 2006 campaign. She received nothing from New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's PAC.
McCaskill is among the nearly 800 superdelegates who will have a big say in who heads the Democratic ticket this fall. she says the PAC contributions to her campaign coffers didn't influence her choice, a study by the Center for Responsive Politics concludes that campaign contributions have become a fairly reliable predictor of whose side a superdelegate will take.
If that's the case, it's good news for Obama. Since 2005, his PAC has donated $710,900 to superdelegates' campaign funds, more than three times as much as Clinton's PAC. Her PAC distributed $236,100 to their campaign funds during the three-year period."

The bill was going down. It was politically expedient, as usual, for Hillary Clinton to vote no. She knew it would not pass. It is one example of how she is still bucking and competing with Obama and lusting for a future run..

And she is fundraising and campaigning for Obama, simultaneously? I think she will do to Obama, what she did to Gore during his campaign ie.. while "fundraising " for Obama, she will also, without the slightest hint of concern for ethics, fundraise for herself and her next bid. Wolfson is now firmly placed on Fox. That makes Begalia, Stephanopoulis and Carville holding up the fort on other networks. Seems it is being planned as we type. . They are still a political force? I think she and Bill are washed up as politicos.

ebbtide: You said, "I think she and Bill are washed up as politicos."
That is just wishful thinking on your part. Republicans, the DNC, African-Americans, Eggheads, older mentally handicapped Adults, and the MSM couldn't bring the Clintons completely down and they never will as long as there are still voters who are guided by logic instead of emotions.
Superdelegates, you must save the Country from Obama at the Democratic National Convention.

The Clintons are vulnerable human beings, not icons of what we need to have running the country therefore have permanent power. At this point they are like an aging football player or tennis player. Their time is up but given their penchant for egotism to the max, they wil still go one refusing to recognize how much they are washed up and will be beached whales on the shore. They are old and will be getting older. It is the young'uns coming up who will determine if indeed they are or will be a significant political force,I have the suspicion that they are smarter than the Clinton generation of supporters we see now.

Do you actually think that handicapped adults, and the politically correct adjective is challenged, not handicapped, were tryijng to bring the Clintons, who ran the worst campaign I have ever seen in my life, down? The Clintons brought themselves down and they are indeed down for the count.
