Jose Canseco: Madonna "Wanted To Have A Baby With Me"

Alex Rodriguez isn't the first athlete Madonna has pursued.

In the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now), former Oakland A and onetime Yankee Jose Canseco details how the singer, 49, tried to romance him in 1991 even though, like baseball nemesis A-Rod, he was married at the time. (He first talked about the incident in his 2008 biography Vindicated.)

"She had a Cuban child and wanted another one," he tells Us. "She wanted to get married and have a child with me - she wanted a Cuban child."

Canseco recalls: "We went downstairs [at her house in the Hollywood Hills] and she came over and said, 'What would you do if I kissed you?' and then sat on my lap and kissed me."

She was touted as doing the same thing in the British press in the '90's. She would randomly call up actors like Rufus Sewell and Hugh Grant in hopes of dating them thinking that the mere mention of the fact that she was Madonna would seduce them into bed. It's obvious that she has a thing for Latin guys and pasty English men. It's okay for someone to have particular type of people they are attracted to, it's not okay to assume that specific men who happen to possess those qualities will drop everything to want to be with you. It's a crass form of narcissism to impose yourself on people who have their own lives and seek to destroy them for your own egotistical needs. It reveals that someone like Madonna doesn't seem to care much about the feelings of other women if she fells entitled to ruin their lives in such a manner. As a woman, I find that women who have no qualms about hurting other women in such a way tend to resent females and feel overly competitive with them. The most obvious way they have of dealing with that resentment is to attempt to steal, without guilt, other women's men. It's a pathetic cliched tactic but not unexpected to see that even with age Madonna hasn't seem to grown wise in the ways of respecting other women. Perhaps if Guy Ritchie grew a pair he would do the same to her.

Madonna is a nutcase. Who would do that? - Call someone you've never met, invite them over, and tell them you want to have their baby and get married - and that you could financially take care of them when their wife leaves them and takes all their money.

Madonna has let all this money and success go straight to her head. She's like the biggest narcissistic, mean-spirited, b!t*# around.

And frankly, Guy Ritchie - her hubby - was one of the best directors before he met her. Lock Stock .., Snatch, and then he marries Madonna and his whole career goes straight down the toilet. I wish he'd leave her and start to make good films again.

However, a great side-affect of Guy dumping Madonna would hopefully be that he gets his creative juices flowing again. God knows her marriage ruined his ability to make amazing films.

Since it appesrs that madonna had no affair with a-rod, why is she being dragged into all of this crap? Am I missing something? She doesn't need the publicity for her upcoming tour. That boat sailed in may when the tickets went on sale. I bought tickets for a november show. When the tour begins in europe, there will be news and when it hits the states in the fall, there will be a splash, but really, the press has failed badly on this story. and jose, what an idiot.

Why, I can’t imagine Madge doing such a thing. And certainly not to poor Jose. Madonna is known for being the epitomy of restraint and dignity at all times. Only some wild eyed narcissistic babe with an ego of monumental proportions would dare give in to their brewing sexual craving for the hot and spicy Latin seed of a married ball player.
