Fox News Needs A Geography Lesson (VIDEO)

Fox News desperately needs a fact checker in its graphics department. MSNBC's David Shuster caught this gem from a Fox report on the Iranian missile tests. The graphic that Fox used to identify the Strait of Hormuz put the strait in the wrong location, and misspelled "strait." For good measure, the Fox reporter also mispronounced "Hormuz."

A lot of Americans can't even find Iraq or Iran on a map, can't spell Straits and can't pronounce Hormuz. And most of that bunch are the diehard Faux News fans. Why should Faux bother checking any of their graphics or stories when the only ones who would notice are left-wing bloggers and evil newscasters on one of those other liberal news channels?
One might ponder a "chicken-o­r-the-egg" scenario here, but I think we can all agree that idiot Americans have been around a lot longer than Faux News.

Television news has become just another morning radio show. When the job requirments are a breast augmentation and being able to read a teleprompter without your eyes moving, the journalism has gone away.

Too funny, I was just listening to that song yesterday and thought the song is just as fitting now as it was 20 years ago. It really hits home how sensationalized the US news has become when you watch news broadcast from other countries.

I saw this last night and I must say that I am not surprised. Faux News does not have reporters, they have News Models, with this bimbo looking big blond hair and completely stupid. You are reporting about an imprtant part of the world calling it "STRAITES of HORMEZ" and pointing an arrow to Basra is unforgivable. This is supposed to be a News Channel.
