Brady Bunch Feud: Christopher Knight And Florence Henderson's War Of Words

Christopher Knight says he's "hurt deeply" that his Brady Bunch mom, Florence Henderson, publicly called his marriage to reality-TV costar Adrianne Curry a mistake.

"It hurts me deeply that someone that I have loved and respected for so many years ... would discuss overtly negative personal opinions about my marriage in a public forum," the My Fair Brady star writes on his MySpace page. "I can only hope these recent comments are an aberration."

Earlier this month, Henderson, 74, told reporters that she felt Knight, 50, and Curry, 25, had been pushed into marriage by their reality show, and had urged them not to wed.

To have your life defined by the TV Family you belonged to 40 years ago to the point that not only has the line been blurred between who you actually are and the fictitious character you once portrayed, but that blurring has allowed for the tortured continuation of a career that for the sake of mental health would have best died 40 years ago ... and puts you in the position of having your marriage - owed to a reality show in which it is difficult to ascertain whether your new spouse realizes she is married to you or your TV Persona - criticized by the actress who once played your fictitious TV Mom ...
