For Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren, the birth of their daughter Honor Marie Warren on June 7 was anything but chaotic.

"I didn't scream," Jessica tells OK! in an exclusive interview and photoshoot. "It was really Zen." And Cash could only marvel at his wife's quiet strength when she gave birth. "She didn't make a sound," he says. "It was amazing."

"It hasn't totally sunk in," Jessica reveals to OK!. "She dreams, she smiles, and coos and does all these things, but she hasn't seen enough of the world yet to understand any of that stuff. So I still feel like she's connected to the other world, or something. There's no other way to explain it. It's a miracle."

The Love Guru star tells OK! that she had natural birth. "The labor was more like meditation," she says. "I did yoga breathing. I was focused."

Jessica, who tells OK! she ate "a lot of soul food" in the weeks following Honor's birth, says she's just now starting to shed the pregnancy pounds.

"I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I'm doing it slow," she says. "Now I'm starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive."

So who does Honor look more like?

"She looks like a girl version of me," Cash says. "She has my nose, my eyebrows and my..."

"Forehead and dimples," Jessica finishes, adding, "She has my mouth when I was a baby. And my ears."

"Maybe Honor is a mixture," Cash reconsiders. "I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I'd kill myself!"

Well, at least we know there weren't any STD's impacting the delivery process. .

Why do you people have a fascination w/ seeing famous people's kids on magazine covers? You realize they're totally using them for profit? It's just weird and exploitive but they all are. And to the person who said she's a good actress: what role are you speaking of? Because she can't act her way out of a paper bag.

She's an empty body thats attractive. Thats it. Nothing more to her.

I just said that I think she's "growing" as an actress. You're right, GQTaste ... she's got a ways to go. But she's still fairly young; so we can hope ... right (lol)!

Speaking for myself, I don't have any fascination... in fact, it is just the opposite. For every "actor" who does it - - I skip their next few movies until out on cable.

It is like pimping out your own child, in my opinion.

As for Alba as an actress, time will tell. She is young and probably being type-cast for now. She hasn't done very many movies and there are many celebrities whose first few movies left a great deal to be desired.

Gorgeous angel. Speaking of which, I wonder when the heck Halle is outing baby pics? I'm sure her daughter is yummy too.

She did all Scientologists proud with the "silent birth".

When did OK! become the birth announcement rag?

Yup, my labor was transcendent. I remember feeling like I was riding on the biggest wave and my baby popped out as the wave crashed. Sounds silly now, but at the time it was truly almost spiritual.

According to Alba, "the labor was more like meditation." She must have been on some heavy duty drugs!

What a beautiful baby & mother! Jessica Alba sounds like a very sweet person. And I'm glad to see that she's getting more roles & growing in her acting. I wish her & her growing family all the best! Thank you also, Ms. Alba, for not selling your child's picture to the highest bidder! LOL

Demi Moore named her daughter "Rumer" after the famed British novelist Rumer Godden.
