Fiorina

Wall Street Journal:

The McCain campaign dispatched its top female surrogate Tuesday to meet with about 25 disaffected supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton in Westchester, N.Y.

Carly Fiorina, the former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard Co. and a top adviser to Republican Sen. John McCain, met with the former Clinton backers at a private home for more than an hour and a half. Fiorina said in an interview that over glasses of iced tea and finger food, she fielded questions from Democratic women she described as "intensely uncomfortable with the notion of a President Obama.''

Both McCain and his Democratic rival, Sen. Barack Obama have both been courting the 17 million or so people who voted for the New York senator during the primary season.

The Westchester meeting came at the behest of former Clinton supporters, some of whom have said - adamantly - that they won't support Obama. Polls show Obama winning the majority of support from women voters while about a quarter of ex-Clinton supporters are leaning toward McCain. The meeting wasn't stocked with typical voters, however. These were prominent activists and fund-raisers, including several known as "Hillraisers,'' who raised more than $100,000 for Clinton during the primary season. "I didn't ask how many of them were Hillraisers but certainly a number of them were,'' Fiorina said.

Nor, Fiorina said, did she ask the women whether Clinton knew they had arranged the meeting with her. Clinton has endorsed Obama and urged her supporters to help defeat McCain.

Wonder who these 25 women were? Obviously not ordinary women. I mean just 25 for afternoon tea and a "chat" What were they plotting? I think ordinary women have more sense than to be used by these elitists.

McCain is looking good now. He has the support of his former jailer who said he was a friendly fellow.
He has the support of the heroic Bosnian veterans.
He has the support of the Murdocks, Scaifes, Limbaughs, and other equally intelligent and honorable devotees of truth and justice.
He even has the support of Women against Freedom, Equality, and Decency. Can't beat that!!

Revenge and DLC neoconservative ideologues could kill the Republic. One thing for sure: Today's and tomorrow's children would very likely be keenly aware of who it was that solidified permanent U.S. occupation -both foreign and domestic- under McCain/Neo Con rule.

Rather than delighting Rove, Kristol, Podhoretz, and Dershowitz, why not concentrate on bringing our 235 yr young country back to health along with the Constitution?

How does America like domestic occupation so far? Want more? Vote McBush '08.

I wonder why Hillary has not made it her job to explain to these "supporters" of hers what Mccain is really about? If they are still so loyal to her would she not have something they would want to hear? Are these people/women racist or ignorant? That any woman would want to vote for Mccain when he has voted againest womens rights across the board almost 100% in his career is beyond reason even if they are pro choice, not every bill he voted againest was a "choice" bill. The other thing which should disturb anyoe with a brain cell that works is the continuing to vote againest bill for the vets. The truth about the new GI Bill is hard to get through to people who heard Bush thank mccain for his support of the bill which he opposed just like bush did. Is Hillary just giving up on these as nutted up people who will vote for mccain no matter what? Wheither sexist issues surrounded the Clinton campaign or not there was a hell of a lot wrong with the campaign she ran or they would have seen her win. They don't get it but it is sad to see Hillary not even give it a shot to try to change their thinking IF they really supported her.

WOW! Carly's met with a whopping 25 people! That's sure to change some hearts and minds of the disaffected! Fiorna's a hack joke just happy to have a job. Everytime I see her on the News Hour I want to vomit. The spin that comes out of her mouth I think sometimes even surprises her: her eyes begin to widen, her lips keep moving, but you know there's no synapses firing. Her mind goes into autopilot and spews the talkingpoints memo she got handed to her just that morning. Hopefully these 25 people saw through her reptilian skin.

Of course it was. Because you cannot possible fathom that people dont want some unqualified, underexperienced, LYING opportunist int he White House.

So, as usual, Obamabots play the "victime of racism" card. Again. And again. And again.

There's a word for "feminists" who are "intensely uncomfortable" with a President Obama but comfortable with a President McCain.

McCain kicked his first model wife to the curb after she was disfigured in an auto accident in order to get busy with a new beauty queen. Women love that sort of thing, right?

We'll win without them. Screw them. Obama raised $52 million in June we'll continue to donate.

Do we have a history of the biggest name in a party and her supporters would rather vote the other side? Does that prove that biggest name is a mole in the party?

Yes. Bill was the best Republican president we ever had. I can't imagine Hillary would be any diferent. Bill talked about the people, then pulled out all the stops to pass NAFTA. She talks about feminism, then crys like a little girl. With either of them, Health care reform is an empty campaign promise. Hillary's first attempt at health care reform was botched so bad I still can't believe it was not deliberate. She didn't even get crumbs; not even a tiny reform on the edges. Clinton & Clinton, bought and paid for.

Clinton & Clinton, bought and paid for.
=======

Funny. Bill got money from Columbia to talk up free trade. And HRC did not change he oppositon on it, despite the money.

HRC got 234,000 from Telecoms.....and still voted NO on FISA.

Obama got 206,000 from Telecoms. And then gave them immunity.

Who is bought and paid for????

We might add that Bill Clinton deregulated everything he could put pen to, and many of the bills he signed directly contributed to the corporate corruption we have today.

Every time I see these Hillary's "Hillraisers" or Bush's "Pioneers" or Ford's "Eagles" it pisses me off. Who the hell do they think they are that they think they can buy influence and an election. Their vote is worth no more than the school teacher's or the grocery clerk's vote, but they feel entitled because they were fortunate enough to make money. They think their political preference is more valuable and they should have influence with those in power so as to forward their own political and business agendas.

Well, as Obama's numbers for June 2008 show, his campaign raised $52 million with an average campaign contribution of only $68. That means 76,470,588 people contributed to him. So the 25 Hillraiser's potential contributions totaling $2,500,000, assuming they again will raise 100,000 each, is relatively unimportant in the campaign. And if these bitter bitches want - out of spite - to give it to McCain, then goodbye and good riddance. McCain raised only $22,000,000 last month from all his rich insiders, so the Hillraisers contributions will only bring McCain up to less than half of what THE PEOPLE contributed to Obama.
