Sarah Jessica Parker Mole

**SCROLL FOR PHOTOS***

Sarah Jessica Parker attended Tuesday night's All-Star game, and hit the field beforehand for an announcement about cancer research. Parker has long had a trademark mole on her chin, which has been visible throughout her career. Below is photo of Parker last month at the MTV Movie Awards, mole clearly visible.

But at the game, as seen below in the unairbrushed AP photo, no mole. At least one of the remarkably cruel reviews of "Sex and the City: The Movie" commented on her beauty mark. The New York Observer's Rex Reed began his review with the following:

There's nothing wrong with Sarah Jessica Parker that couldn't be cured by wart-removal surgery. That growth on her face just gets bigger with every close-up, and in the full-length movie version of Sex and the City it's so distracting you can't concentrate on anything else. It's not a beauty mark. I guess you can't tell a co-producer anything, but listen up, girl. At this point, you would make a wonderful Halloween witch.

No word - if indeed she has had the mole removed, if it was for medical of cosmetic reasons. Scroll down and take a look:

When I was in my 20's I had quite a few moles, a couple on my face (I kind of liked them they were in the places where women used to put "beauty marks") and also on my back.

My doctor insisted that I have them all removed, even threatened to cut off my birth control pills if I didn't get rid of the moles. So I did, it was no big deal, took about an hour and left no scars.

My feelings of looking good were the same both before and after moles, what on earth is everyone getting so excited about? According to my doctor, I reduced my risk of skin cancer by removing the moles, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered.

Like freckles, wrinkles, baldness or what have you, we all have what some people call flaws and what more evolved people call "differences." I guess all those people who feel so compelled to criticize differences wish we were all perfect clones of what they deem to be perfect beauty.

Now if the surgeons can just do something about that horseface...

Someone better call Inspector Clouseau to find the missing mole.

Maybe she was afraid that she would be left w/a big scar instead.

That's okay. It was starting to look bigger to me. Like when I saw the SATC movie, it was almost a distraction.

Hey, life is too short to live with moles you just plain ol' dislike!

I think the bigger story is that she was there for an announcement on cancer research? She's a big-time smoker of cigarettes..............

After the article I just read about skin cancer, removal of that growth on her face was long overdue, and it looks like the surgeon did a great job removing it.

If it was not for cosmetic reasons, I really think Sarah Jessica Parker should speak up about skin cancer and taking care of such things in a TIMELY manner.

More earth-shattering news from the National Enquir-- oh - excuse me - I thought I was on some tabloid site. Even for entertainment, this doesn't rate a mention, let alone space on the 'front page." Unless, of course, you ARE the National Enquirer.

I must admit that I was wondering where her mole went, but I didn't want to say anything about it. It might upset her, and she is probably still recovering from being jilted by Big. What an A-hole! How could he DO such a thing.

Oh yeah, it was just a movie. Well, what difference does that make?

But I wonder if this is a trend. Will Cindy Crawford's mole disappear? Probably not, that's a trademark.

Twin sisters, separated at birth. No other explanation makes sense. Glad we've finally gotten down to some serious issues.

Sometimes moles are precancerous. Sometimes benign moles are a pain in the neck, because they get in the way (for example, a mole on the should can be irritated by a bra strap, a mole on the thigh can be irritated by the elastic on underpants, a mole on the chin can get irritated by a washcloth and removing makeup).

Much ado about nothing.

I have a mole on my face that hasn't been a concern for my entire life. Yet, I had one on my back that wasn't cancerous, but a type that looked so. So, after two doctors telling me to see the dermatologist, I did, and he suggested that he remove it. Took all of 2 minutes.
