Lindsay Lohan And Sam Ronson "A Lovely Couple" Says Brother's Girlfriend

Lindsay Lohan has been linked to DJ Samantha Ronson for months, and now Sam's brother's girlfriend has gone on the record about the pair's relationship. Photos over the past few months have shown Lohan and Ronson in constant company, holding hands and kissing.

Now, the girlfriend of Sam's brother Mark (Grammy-winning producer of acts like Amy Winehouse) has spoken to a British paper. Model Daisy Lowe, who has been dating Mark for about three months, told the Mirror:

"I met Lindsay and Sam for the first time during the weekend before the Coachella festival.

"Sam is an amazing girl. The four of us had a brilliant time - a real laugh."

And it seems that Daisy is also really taken with legendary party girl, Linds, 22. "Lindsay is really down to earth. Her and Sam make a lovely couple - they seem really happy.

"Their relationship is totally genuine. And they're just so sweet together.

"Mark totally approves. But we're not going to double-date again - I mean, would you go on a date with your brother? It's just a bit weird and anyway they live in LA, so it's kinda difficult.

"But I'd definitely love to see them again."

Lowe, 19, was recently revealed to be the daughter of Gavin Rossdale.

what a lovely couple they are. it's obvious that Lindsay is happy and healthy, and that Sam is the reason for it. it sure would be nice if for once, just for once, people could summon the maturity to put aside their compulsion to diminish and deride. be happy for them. try it. you'll survive. and you may even like yourselves a bit more.

I obviously can't speak for everyone here, but I'm certainly skeptical of this relationship between Lohan and Ronson myself, and it has nothing to do with a "compulsion to diminish and deride." Rather, it has to do with the fact that this story is far from uncommon - rich, famous girl lives horribly unhealthy lifestyle due to childhood trauma, girl gets in major trouble with the authorities, girl temporarily swears off men and turns to women because she feels more safe with them, girl runs into trouble when she realizes she isn't really very sexually attracted to women.

I think Lindsay Lohan might be in the middle of this all-too-common cycle right now.

I'm not saying that that's necessarily what's happening, obviously - and if Lohan turns out to be genuinely gay or bisexual and wants to have a relationship with a woman, I say God bless and more power to her - but I am certainly noticing some familiar patterns of behavior here.

I missed this one on the Gardner Plot Wheel, and to be honest, I'm having trouble thinking of anyone else famous who's gone through this "all too common" cycle. The only even semi-famous woman I can think of who's publicly jumped back and forth across the line is Anne Heche, and I don't think even she hits all the plot points. Lohan and Ronson were tight well before the former crashed and burned all the way, and I think there were rumors about them even then, not that that that's anything to go off of. It just is what it is, and as long as it keeps Lindsey Lohan on an even keel, great. After all, she could be in far worse hands -- she could be with one of her parents.
