ABC News, Washington Post Withheld Results Of Poll Favorable To Obama

ABC News and The Washington Post issued staggered releases of the results of their latest poll, withholding from their first release results favorable to Sen. Barack Obama, including the finding that 50 percent of registered voters would vote for Obama for president versus 42 percent for Sen. John McCain. The next day, the Post ran an article headlined "Poll Finds Voters Split on Candidates' Iraq-Pullout Positions," which did not mention Obama's 8-point lead over McCain. Later that day, ABC News and the Post issued a second release with additional poll results that stated: "Obama continues to hold most of the advantages in the presidential race."

Every poll mentioned is a "dead heat" or "statistical tie" and yet on the CNN page Obama shows 6-8 point lead, as well as in many individual states. They never care to discuss that. I was hopeful for a while that the media might wake-up, but what a pipedream. It's not gonna happen. We have to search to find the true news when it comes to this election anyway.

That is not surprizing the LA times this morning had nothing but McCain stories how good he is, how funny he was on Connan, how he has to struggle, eight articles in total . Just one article about Obama, how he is getting all the attention in the media with his trip to the middle east and over 3/4 of tha tartice was about Mecain too. It certainly makes me wonder what the heck the MSM is really up too are they trying to force on us another Term of BUSH? Actually I fiond it rather repugnant that the media seems to decide who the winner is anymore by manipulating what stories they publish and which ones they IGNORE. Good examples are all of the gaffes ole John has made and most do not make it to the MSM you have to dig around the interent or local news shows to find anything. But some aquaintence of Obama's says something controversial and all hell breaks loose with every media outlet playing videos and telling us how bad it is that Obama associates with people like this. As if some pastor or some person related in a similar fasion has any real dipiction of Obama'a actions.

They pick and choose their polls. MSNBC is showing this morning a poll withy Obama up by only one. They don't mind using that one. Plus, many of the state polls (especially in some of the so called battle groundstates) show Obama gaining or in the lead) are kept under wraps. It's ONLY the one that the media can call "dead heat" or "virtually a tie" or "neck and neck", that they want to show. Unbelieveable that you can't trust news sources anymore.

part of the government's "Information Ministry" , anyone surprised by this just isn't paying attention.
Looking back on it now, we can see that the supreme court vote after the 2000 election was a facist takeover of the government. Our job,taking our country back. As they try to make a McCain victory seem possible in November, so when the voting machines don't work, and millions of people are turned away from polling places all over the country, he can "win". I am terrified for my country.

I belive the reporting of the polls are altered and withheld the true accuracy all the time, because THE MEDIA WANTS DRAMA, they want it to seem close , America is SICK AND TIRED of the republicans, the bipartisianship, the economy is screwed up , and if it means now to finally elect a black man, that is CHANGE that we are willing to try becuase we just had 8 years of experience an that didnt workout worth a damn.

I always love these polls. He's at 50%, McCain at 42% somehow he has an 8 point lead. Where? What happened to the 8% not counted. Who are they voting for? Do they no longer count?

It doesn't make sense when they do it the other way either!

He's at 50%, McCain is at 42% with 8 percent undecided. It's a dead heat! No one is up and no one is down until those other 8% decide.
