ABC News, Washington Post Withheld Results Of Poll Favorable To Obama

ABC News and The Washington Post issued staggered releases of the results of their latest poll, withholding from their first release results favorable to Sen. Barack Obama, including the finding that 50 percent of registered voters would vote for Obama for president versus 42 percent for Sen. John McCain. The next day, the Post ran an article headlined "Poll Finds Voters Split on Candidates' Iraq-Pullout Positions," which did not mention Obama's 8-point lead over McCain. Later that day, ABC News and the Post issued a second release with additional poll results that stated: "Obama continues to hold most of the advantages in the presidential race."

ABC and the Washington Post have been clearly and blatantly biased for McCain. David Broder at wapo and Jake Tapper at ABC for example, have been shameless in their pro McCain campaign coverage. This news about the withholding of poll results damaging to the McCain campaign is just further confirmation of this.

The media has never been for Obama, They have always been there just to perpertaute lies about Obama. So Now that the media hasn't won that War , they start saying that Obama has a lot of coverage from the part of the media!
If we analyse the media coverage of OBAMA we will end up seeing that all the coverage were just made to destruct sen. Obama (Rev Wright, Father Pfleger ... and the list ist endless)!
Now that the media mainstream is losing that war against Obama , they say they have put much time to follow Obama.

I think it a mistake to think "the fix" is in. I don't think the banking interests, followed by the corporations they control, followed by the government they control, give a damn who is president knowing no one man can alter "The Machine". What they want is to keep us all divided--it is when we are united that they know that they are all are in trouble. Are they manipulating information? Damn straight, on every level--to keep us divided. Sell them the story that this is a "close" election. Split them in half, and then again, and then again. Let them spend their time and energy fighting each other, and for those that don't have the stomach for it, throw reality TV at them where there's a constant stream of division and base interest. For them, they are feeding us a side show on oh, so many levels.

Atter all, isn't this the same Charlie Gibson/George Stephanopolous-led news team that moderated the "gotcha debate" in Philly between Obama and Clinton?

Isn't this the same news division that strangely retains the TIME Magazine boogeyman Mark Halperin as a "consultant"?

Last week, I saw good ole' WORLD NEWS TONIGHT anchor Charlie Gibson interviewing John McCain. Towards the end, Gibson asked McCain, "Are you ready to label Obama a flipflopper?" After McCain mentioned a few positions Obama had allegedly flipped on, Gibson missed an opportunity to let McCain know that he had made a serious of misteps that could be taken as "flipflops". Gibson pretty much confirmed for me that he either wants Obama to lose, or, that he wants to give McCain a pass to try to make the Obama/McCain contest a true horserace.

EIther way, ABC has a very irresponsible news division. And this poll revelation just punctuates that point.

As for TV I actually rely on KO and Democracy Now for some good information each day.
