Ex-Guns N' Roses Drummer Arrested

LOS ANGELES — Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has been arrested in Hollywood for alleged drug possession.

Los Angeles police spokesman Richard French says the 43-year-old Adler was arrested around 4 a.m. Friday by officers called to a home where a man reportedly was creating a disturbance and refusing to leave.

Adler was booked for investigation of possessing narcotics, being under the influence and for an outstanding warrant.

He was jailed on $45,000 bail.

Adler has a long history of drug use. He performed on the early Guns N' Roses albums but was later fired.

Whatever hapenned to Axel's "Chinese Democracy"? I heard it has some rockin' cuts-

I guess the title itself kinda dooms the whole thing. Hell will freeze over before there's ever democracy in China. Axel oughtta get a clue and release it, if nothing else, for spite. Plenty record companies still want it, but it's going to fade fast if he won't release it.
Too bad about Stevie- but he'll get through. He needs to clean up, get the hell out of LA , and get in a good band. Continue to make a good name for himself like Slash has.

Too bad, because Adler was a good drummer and he fit the band well. Once they started doing the parts replacement bit with all the members they or more accurately Axel the Axhole, ruined what could have been one of the great bands in rock history.

Gotta feel for the guy and one can only hope someday he kicks the problem.

As long as I lived I thought I'd never hear a rock band that was even in the same ballpark as Led Zeppelin.
