Proposed George W. Bush Sewage Plant Makes The Ballot In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO — A measure seeking to commemorate President Bush's years in office by slapping his name on a San Francisco sewage plant has qualified for the November ballot.

The measure certified Thursday would rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.

Supporters say the idea is to commemorate the mess they claim Bush has left behind by actions such as the war in Iraq.

Local Republicans say the plan stinks and they will oppose it.

I agree. Bush should have his name on a sewage plant in San Francisco. What better way to remind everyone of the sewage flushed at him in 8 years by that crowd. And since he handled it, filtered it, and returned it back by being re-elected twice it is laughable. Yes it is funny, I hope he autographs it.

Certainly the plant is well named considering it is San Francisco. The man always had to handle loads of sewage from that place anyway. It is fitting that the San Francisco community remembers that no matter what they flushed, he handled it.

This is so befitting and earned. There are so many things that come to mind. This should be good for tourism. I'd be very happy to take a leak knowing it would end up going through the bowels of Strub's inner workings like he has done to this country for 8 years. The city could sell elevation maps with projected arrival times so we could savor the moment.

It also has enspred me to name the spot in my year where my dog releive tehmselves the George W. Bush Doggie Dew Memorial Squat and Dump Wildlife Area.
