Community policing has been shown to be way more effective than cruising around in squad cars and sitting idling in paerking lots.
The community beat cop sees whats going on in the streets and has a real connection to the businesses and residents
Plus it sure wouldn't hurt most cops to walk off the half dozen Dunkins they just ate
Some of the policemen that I have seen would have a heart attack trying to run down a 90 year old woman in crutches. Hope that does not happen too often or maybe some smart a&^ will steal the car.
Correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm not 100% up to speed on civil code of wearing the flag on civilian style uniforms, but either that photo is backwards, or the patch is improperly displayed. Thought it was always to have the blue field to the left?
The patch is correct and it is displayed "military style." The purpose is for the flagbearer to seem to be moving forward.
OTOH, there IS a chance the flag is sewn otherwise and the picture has been reversed.
